A Hat in Time

A Hat in Time lets us play as Hat Kid, a girl who travels in time, fights villains and solves numerous puzzles. During the campaign, we visit five varied worlds and try to foil the plan of Mustache Girl. Hat Kid uses a special umbrella that acts as e.g. parachute, weapon and even propeller.
Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

Inside

Inside is the second project of the independent Danish studio PlayDead, which became famous by creating the cult game Limbo. The game's development was partially funded by a grant from the Danish government. The story tells about a young boy who must stop the forces of evil that are trying to take over the world by experimenting on humans. The gameplay mechanics are similar to classic platformer games.

Cuphead

A two-dimensional action game with designs resembling old cartoon movies, which is a debut production of StudioMDHR, an independent developer. In Cuphead, we assume the role of a gambling addict that loses his soul to the devil during one of his sessions. To retrieve it, he needs to work off its equivalent. When it comes to mechanics, the game is a 2D fighting game with a degree of platforming elements – we participate in continuous 1v1 fights, taking place on special 2D arenas.
Yoshi's Woolly World

Three-dimensional platformer for the whole family developed by Nintendo. Yoshi’s Wooly World is set in a world made of yarn. We play as the titular green dinosaur Yoshi, one of the main mascots of the Japanese company; the game expands on concept of Kirby’s Epic Yarn. We received a classic platformer in 2.5D, in which our hero is followed by running eggs, which can be shot at various targets or parts of scenery.
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course

Trine 2: Complete Story

A sequel to a platform/puzzle action game developed by Frozenbyte. The story of the original game was set in a colorful, magical fantasy world. Trine 2 once again presents the adventures of the three characters bound together by the power of an artifact known as Trine. Amadeus, Zoya and, Pontius are brought to a fairytale land inhabited by goblins. Their task is to discover the truth behind the actions of the malicious creatures and to prevent them from achieving their goals.
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc

The third installment in the series of adventures of the eponymous friendly hero. Released for PC Windows and consoles, the game is an action platformer. Rayman and his friends, Globox and Murfy, have to face the army of Hoodlums. As you play, you explore new, colorful locations, from beautiful, magical places to ruined areas inhabited by hostile creatures. Visually, the game looks better than the second installment — the textures and animations have been improved.
Jak II: Renegade

Creating this production is the responsibility of Naughty Dog studio, which enjoys a high esteem in the industry, with titles such as Uncharted, Crash Bandicoot or The Last of Us. The heroes of Yak II: Renegade are Yak and Daxter, but as a result of a certain turn of action, the world in which they travel changes significantly.
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando

This time, the main characters are kidnapped and taken to the Bogon galaxy, where new adventures, riddles and enemies await them. The creators took care of a number of changes in the mechanics of the game, including the ability to develop characters and improve equipment.
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor's Legacy

The production stands out from other titles by the number of details, gameplay diversity and a well-designed open world. The legendary Naughty Dog studio, known for such hits as The Last of Us, Uncharted or Crash Bandicoot, is responsible for creating this title. The main characters are the green-haired Elven Yak and his faithful friend, the furry Daxter.
Super Mario 3D Land

Rayman Legends

The game was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and is the fifth full-fledged installment in the series created by Michel Ancel. This time the titular protagonist and his friend Globox must face nightmares which have created amazing worlds during the 100 years they have spent in the Crossroads of Dreams. Rayman must also free the Teensies captured by the clone of the deceptive Magician.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

A 2D arcade game with platformer elements, and the debut of the Canadian indie developer Astro Base. During the gameplay we step into the shoes of one of the two operators of a small space station, and it is our task to defend it against consecutive waves of enemy attacks. The missions are played out in randomly generated locations, and the players need to navigate the corridors of the station in order to reach the various control consoles that are located inside them.
Evoland 2: A Slight Case of Spacetime Continuum Disorder

An unusual music game by indie studio Berzerk, inspired by classic shoot'em up games. You control a shape that you have to lead to the end of the level, which is made more difficult by various geometrical shapes appearing to the rhythm of the music.
World of Goo

World of Goo is a logic-arcade game produced and published by Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel, a two-person development team from the 2D Boy studio. The game, designed exclusively for one player, consists in building various constructions of gelatinous slurry balls, i.e. the title Goo, which is permanently disturbed by gravity and other laws of physics. The title, characterized by specific visual setting and original situational humour, was considered one of the most original games of 2008.
