The player assumes the role of an alien whose task is to lead a group of penguins through 3D levels filled with different traps, pits and other obstacles. In each of the 40 in-game levels, the player's goal is to set a route for their subordinates, who are constantly walking towards one direction and change it only when bumping into a wall.

Framed 2 employs comics panel-based narrative, constructed in a way that will allow the protagonist to get out of trouble.

The action is presented from the first-person perspective, while the gameplay boils down to solving numerous escape-room kind of puzzles. While playing, we have to, for example, disable explosives or neutralize various kinds of traps. The protagonist’s telekinetic abilities will surely come in handy.

Our job is to free the required number of birds, which means puncturing the right balloons.
