A match-3 puzzle game developed by King for mobile devices and social network services. The gameplay in Candy Crush Saga is very simple. The player is tasked with moving (vertically or horizontally) the candies on the map in such way so that they combine into groups of at least three identical ones. Candies combined in such way disappear and the player receives points. Each level features specific objectives to meet, such as obtaining specified high score or combining a predetermined number of specific candies. The game is more interesting thanks to various bonuses such as explosives which can be detonated after matching a larger number of candies in one go. These explosions can clear large parts of the level at once. The game features colorful, “cartoonish” graphics and it employs a typical free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions.

A 3-match puzzle game, set in the universe of the famous Magic: The Gathering card game, related to the popular Puzzle Quest series by Infinite Interactive. During the game we take on the role of a Planeswalker, who, through spells and summoned creatures, fights with other adepts of magical arts. Duels come down to skillfully placing at least three elements of the same type in a row. Depending on what symbols we combine together, each match can result in, for example, casting a spell or using an object from the inventory. Magic: The Gathering – Puzzle Quest could not, of course, do without typical elements of a card game. Thus, we collect cards during the game that represent characters, spells, artifacts, etc. Then we use them to build our own deck, which is used during a duel allows us to achieve different effects and employ different combat strategies.

If you match three of them horizontally or vertically, they disappear and you earn points. By clearing the blocks you fill a special meter, which, when full, gives you a useful bonus item, such as a bomb or a rainbow block that clears the whole board. NekoBuro – Cats Block features plot elements, shown as short visual-novel-like cutscenes. The story is very lighthearted and sometimes even absurd, as its protagonists are cubical cats from outer space, trapped on Earth — they're the blocks appearing on the board. Candy Crush Soda Saga expands the ideas known from the previous installments of the series. However, this time, in addition to the candies, the game also features sodas. One of the main tasks is to use them to fill the levels. The core mechanics remain the same: player must connect colored water in the bottle with a candy that has the same color. The task must be completed within a limited number of moves. The less moves are used, the bigger the score. The game features colorful graphics similar to its predecessors.

They have to use the force locked in four magic artifacts in order to stop the god of evil returning life. In Hero Emblems, the player has to fight groups of opponents and powerful bosses. Combat is turn-based and performing an action – e.g. launching an attack, activating defensive techniques, selecting a special ability, and healing others – is possible after joining a group of same objects set on the board composed of 56 fields. The enemies are very diversified and unique, making the gameplay entertaining. In between the battles, one can explore the in-game world, interact with NPCs, and develop their characters.

The player gets to visit the world known from the popular shooter called Evolve. The plot of Hunters Quest goes in line with its original – a squad of futuristic hunters have to fight beasts inhabiting an alien planet, exept the gameplay mechanics are slightly different. During the missions (there are over 100 of them), the player fights the monsters on maps divided into 56 fields filled with multiple symbols representing attacks and both offensive and defensive actions. The player is tasked with connecting these symbols into groups of three or more. The results of one’s actions can be seen in the 3D preview of the battle. For each victory, the player is awarded a number of experience points that can be spent on developing the hunters and unlocking new abilities for them.

Compared to other games of the genre, Star Wars: Puzzle Droids distinguishes itself with its extensive scenario – we can experience the story told in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, although the plot – contrary to the movie original – is presented from the perspective of the BB-8 droid. Moreover, the title is more varied than typical match-3 productions. While playing, we unlock various missions and fight enemies. Also, we have a number of special powers at our disposal, which let us deal with increasingly difficult challenges. As we progress, we gain access to the droid’s memories which present interesting scenes from its life.

A unique mix of an RPG and a match-3 logic game characteristic for its contents, periodically released in the form of episodes. Ticket to Earth takes place in a distant future in one of the space colonies established by humanity. An unexpected catastrophe forces the inhabitants to evacuate back to Earth. Unfortunately, the only means of evacuation is a single starliner that can hold only a small portion of the citizens. A riot breaks out, while the colony itself is under attack from peacekeeping robots, bandits, and aggressive mutants. The player assumes control of a group of four heroes that attempt to discover the truth behind the unexpected downfall of the colony. The action of the game is seen from an isometric perspective. The campaign is divided into missions that see us take part in turn-based encounters on a board covered by a square grid with tiles marked with different symbols. Stepping on a field bolsters the attached ability. As a result, the key to success lies in crossing as many fields as possible with one move, which is rewarded with useful bonuses. Aside from the above, the authors have introduced an extensive skill tree of a hundred abilities divided between four schools. The game is characteristic for its colorful visuals and animated cut-scenes.

The player assumes the role of a gardener whose task is to restore a parcel back to its former glory and discover the secrets of the place along the way. The entire game is set in a large garden divided into several sections. In terms of mechanics, typical "match-3-objects" rules were applied here. Thus the player's goal is to match pictures of different plants together to create spectacular-looking combinations, which results in scoring an adequate number of points. Those can be spent on gradual expanding of the parcel. The experience is diversified by numerous bonuses and hacks, such as stopping the passage of time for a short while. Between subsequent levels, the player is taken to story-based segments - during those, the protagonist can talk to different characters, buy new garden accessories and plant more and more beautiful pieces of greenery.

A simple puzzle action game that represents the ‘match-3’ subgenre. It is a mobile spin-off of the jRPG series Yo-Kai Watch known from 3DS consoles. The game, developed for mobile platforms, has different mechanics than the original series. It offers simple, casual gameplay that focuses on moving sets of the title creatures in such way so that at least three yokai of same type are in one row. Success in doing that allows performing attacks during duels with enemies on which the whole game is focused. During the game yokai are constantly fighting in a round container and the player has no time to carefully plan his moves as a good reflex is required for the success. Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble offers story campaign in which the world is divided into few zones. Reaching each of them requires defeating creatures guarding the entrance. During the game new yokais are gradually unlocked and the abilities of already obtained ones improves.

An arcade action game featuring numerous logic puzzles. In Battle Chef Brigade, the player assumes the role of one of the available chefs, participating in cooking competitions, similar to those featured in numerous TV shows such as Iron Chef. The only difference is that the game is set in a fantasy world, and acquiring particular ingredients requires the player to visit diverse locations and find them on their own. Not all ingredients can be simply picked up - some have to be fought over, while others can be created after combining several items. For example, the player cuts down a Venus flytrap, luring a a chicken, which, having eaten the plant, lays an egg. The cooking itself is based on the match-three rules. Particular ingredients feature various tastes, and combining the same tastes provides better scores. Between the cook-offs, the player can visit the town, practice his skills, and interact with NPCs. The game delivers 2D visuals inspired by the manga style.
