A remastered version of 1998's Battlezone, combining elements of action and RTS games. Developer Rebellion focused on enhancing visual resolution and upgrading the interface, while keeping gameplay almost identical to the original edition. Therefore, Battlezone 98 offers the same original single player campaigns presenting an alternative version of the Cold War. You are in control of either the USA or USSR forces during an open conflict taking place on the planets of the Solar System. This is a war over a mysterious alien resource called bio-metal. You observe the action from the cockpit of a futuristic tank and from there you fight the enemy and command your units. Other elements typical for RTS games that Battlzone 98 Redux features are collecting resources, developing your base, and producing units. In addition to the two campaigns, Batlezone 98 Redux offers three multiplayer modes: Strategy, Deathmatch, and Sniper.

We play as a former detective, Patton, who wants to face the wave of crime that plagues the city of Santa Esperanza, as well as the demons from his past. He must solve the case of a series of brutal murders, either by interrogating and speaking with key characters or through scenes straight from an action movie. Interestingly, the plot changes depending on our decisions. What make Blues and Bullets stand out are its visuals, with black and white dominating, with an addition of some distinctive red. It also serves as a narrative feature, as the city changes and some objects provide crucial information.

The game features a PvP mode, which allows you to fight against others in teams of three players each.

Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition, apart from the base game, includes 9 add-ons released after the base game, comprising 3 story-based expansions and 6 weapon packs. Additionally, new maps have been added to the multiplayer, along with a new co-op mission and 2 game modes, namely Capture the Flag and Shooting Range.

An inconspicuous but quite difficult 2D mobile arcade game by 1Button. Mechanics-wise, Mr Jump is an endless runner platformer. The protagonist constantly runs forwards and your task is to jump from platform to platform (the longer you hold the button, the higher the jump). Your goal is to reach the end of a level, which is made more difficult by various dangers, such as precipices and traps. As an additional challenge, there are no checkpoints, so just one mistake means that you have to start over. The game features 12 expansive levels with varied trap layouts and audiovisual elements, even though the latter are quite minimalist.

A remastered version of the third installment in a cult action-game franchise, whose consecutive parts were released on different generations of Sony’s consoles. This product was prepared to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series and was released on PlayStation 4. The story is a direct sequel to God of War II. It tells about the war between titans and gods, which was ignited by Kratos. This time players get brand new weapons, each one characterized by a different combat style. Kratos also uses a new magic system and artifacts, such as Icarus Wings, Golden Fleece, and the Head of Helios. As compared with the previous installments in the series, artificial intelligence of opponents and bosses was significantly improved, which makes the gameplay more compelling and demanding, Interestingly, you can ride monsters (e.g. Cyclopes) when you weaken them. The most obvious difference between the 2010 original and the remastered edition is the graphics with resolution raised to 1080p.

An old-school arcade game, developed by Klobit, an independent studio known for other similar titles. The developers took inspiration not only from 8-bit classics, but also 1980s science fiction anime. The action of Capsule Force takes place in a distant future, in the eve of an intergalactic war. With the threat of apocalypse looming nearby, the galactic leaders have decided to begin an aggressive program of colonization, using futuristic capsules, which creates various internal conflicts. The players choose one of the two warring factions, with the objective to retrieve the capsule taken over by the enemy. Each arena pits two two-manned teams against each other. The key to success lies in the right use of a vast arsenal of weapons and energetic shields and avoiding traps that are laid in large numbers in enemy base. Capsule Force also contains a single player mode, which acts as a form of practice. The game is complemented by 8-bit, pixel-art visuals.

A survival-horror action adventure game and the debut production from NVYVE, a Canadian studio. The action takes place in the near future on an island that is almost completely occupied by a modern shopping and entertainment center called the Eden. In the game, we assume the role of a sole survivor of a plague of a mysterious virus that infected the island’s inhabitants and the protagonist's only ally is an AI named Pamela. The gameplay emphasizes the survival aspect — in the game, we have to constantly look for food, drink, and various useful items, as well as ensure that we get enough sleep. To fight mutants, we do not use classical armaments but a number of seemingly useless things which belonged to the Eden’s employees. The title’s highly original interface, designed as an integral part of the virtual world (for example, armbands that display the holograms of the equipment screen), deserves a praise.

The fourth major installment of the popular music game series that was started in 2007 by Harmonix, the creators of a similar franchise called Guitar Hero. In the title, we assume the role of rock band members — a guitarist, a vocalist, or a drummer (keyboard, introduced in Rock Band 3, is no longer available). Depending on our role in the band, the fun boils down to rhythmically pressing the keys of the virtual instrument, tapping the beat on a special drum kit, or recreating the vocals as faithfully as possible. For the purposes of the game, designed with next-gen platforms in mind, new versions of the existing instruments were created, although the production supports all older editions, as well. Apart from a large set of new tracks, we can also use every song we had bought in the previous installments of the Rock Band series so we don’t have to buy them again.

A web-based MOBA game for mobile devices (Android, iOS), utilizing a free-to-play model with microtransactions. Call of Champions was developed by the creators of Arcane Legends, Battle Command, Star Legend, and Arcane Battleground. The game differs from other productions of the genre, mostly because it focuses on quick, five-minutes-long battles. The general mechanics stay the same: two opposing teams have to get through the others' defenses and destroy the enemy's base. The duration of the battles, however, means that the mechanics are simplified. For example, Call of Champions doesn't feature AI opponents or item shops. On the other hand, from the beginning you have access to many characters and powerful abilities and there is no need to work long and hard to unlock them. The game features attractive, slightly cartoonish 3D visuals.

As the game progresses, the skill level of your characters (including e.g. a rogue and a wizard) rises; they learn new abilities and upgrade the ones they already know. They also gain special powers, which can be used in battle. As the game is very dynamic, it is also highly difficult, which is only exacerbated by the fact that when you die, you have to start over. Tap Heroes features colorful pixel-art visuals.

We are given eight varied characters who are equipped with unique abilities, allowing them to, for example, electrocute, drown, or bisect their enemies. Moreover, the heroes can equip gear from a selection of over a hundred items that offer useful bonuses in combat. The game is characteristic for its violence-heavy content which is offered in a mild and palatable form, as well as stylized visuals and a large dose of unusual humor.

To do so, they have to cultivate land, gather resources, build new towns, as well as recruit and train the army. It is also necessary to establish laws, conduct research on technologies or satisfy their subordinates in terms of their religious needs. The player's ultimate task however, is to convince the Chinese society that the player-controlled emperor is the actual Son of Heavens and the rightful ruler of the world. Because the player is not the only one willing to become the emperor, it is necessary to subjugate hostile parties first. This can be achieved either by diplomacy or great battles involving thousands of units.

You task is to infiltrate Paris, avoid detection by the Germans, contact the resistance, find the informant and the clues and evidence pointing towards the traitor. The game utilizes a first-person perspective and you move by “jumping” from place to place. The gameplay focuses on exploring locations, talking to NPCs, gathering items, and solving puzzles. The visuals of The Paris Dossier are black and white, based on retouched photos. The soundtrack features music that neatly fits the atmosphere of the 1940s.

Thanks to an agreement with FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix, the game contains authentic motorbikes, race tracks, sponsors, and body paints. What is characteristic about Minions Paradise, are its eye-pleasing visuals that resemble the animated original. Both artists and screenwriters that co-created the film series took part in the production process of the game as well.

The most important element of this game is its huge database that contains 117 leagues from 51 countries and 150 thousand players. Moreover, for the first time for mobile releases of games from this series, we can use a full 3D view of a football field. The matches are realistic, dynamic, which forces us to create complicated tactics, and, sometimes, they can be unpredictable. Football Manager Classic 2015 offers easy-to-understand graphics that mostly consist of various tabs and windows, and was developed with touch screens in mind.

A TPP action game styled after retro science-fiction titles, created by ACE Team studio – known from games like Rock of Ages, Abyss Odyssey, or the Zeno Clash series. The story features the adventures of three astronauts and their robot companion, whose ship crashes on the alien planet Gravoria, and their only chance to escape is reaching the top of a massive tower. We observe the game’s world from the point far above characters’ heads, and the gameplay consist mainly of eliminating hordes of enemies coming in waves, each more challenging than previous ones. The characteristic feature of The Deadly Tower of Monsters are its designs, employing the color palette from classic science-fiction movie. Moreover, the characters look like actors dressed up in costumes, and in the scenes with space ships the strings attached to their models are clearly visible. All of this is complemented by the director’s commentary, who recollects the making of this movie-in-game.

An FPP survival-horror with elements of logic game, which came out as the second project (after an adventure game NERO) of the Italian developer Storm in a Teacup. The game features the theme of trying to escape from a dangerous serial killer. Taking a desperate attempt to save his life, the player has to face many challenges and logic puzzles. Gameplay is built around exploration, locating story-related items, and solving puzzles, which often refer to Sumerian culture and authentic occult writings. Throughout the game you gradually unveil the killer’s secrets and his connections to a mystic cult, whereas the choices you make and your successes at solving in-game problems determine which one of the several endings you are going to see. The game runs on an advanced version of Unreal Engine, featuring evocative, dark atmosphere.

In the game the player goes back in time to the prehistoric era and is given an opportunity to watch dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals in their natural habitat – large valleys and ocean deeps. During this extraordinary journey the players are provided with special equipment that allows them to track and scan the large creatures. However, it is not an easy task as the creatures are very dangerous and it is required to get as close to them as possible in order to complete the mission. The ability to stop time makes it a bit easier – thanks to it players can get close to the research objects and scan various parts of their bodies – including the inside of their mouth. In comparison to many other games developed for virtual reality sets, Time Machine VR stand out thanks to its high quality graphics created with Unreal Engine 4.

The mechanics do not differ considerably from those in the previous installment and once again emphasize realism. Due to the different historical period and realities of the conflict presented, the game now features choppers, booby-traps, and machine guns. Soldiers of each fraction differ not only in fighting style, but also in equipment. The creators provided new unit system that allows for bigger control over the player's squad. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam introduces multiplayer for up to 64 players.

The first expansion for Pillars of Eternity, the bestselling cRPG created by Obsidian Entertainment. The action takes place in an abandoned dwarven stronghold, Durgan, where, as rumor has it, one can find tons of incredibly valuable artifacts. The place is overrun by monsters though, and most adventurers that dared enter it never came back. The player’s party accepted the challenge and ventures into the stronghold with a mission of uncovering the secret of the legendary durgan steel. The game features typical cRPG gameplay premises: exploration, questing, character progression. In addition to the main storyline, we can also complete a number of various side quests. The player takes control of a likable fox called Lucky, traveling across a colorful world full of different challenges to complete and enemies to defeat. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the game is a typical platformer. Apart from the protagonist being able to run, jump, climb, and fight, he can also engage in a variety of additional activities and arcade mini-games. The game stands out with its support of the virtual reality technology that allows the player to look around freely when searching for hidden passages or to lean out of a fence or a rock to see what is on the other side. Thus the player's immersion in the adventures of Lucky reaches new depths. The game features three-dimensional, colorful and cartoonish visuals.

A post-apocalyptic hack’n’slash created with browsers and mobile devices in mind, developed by a Korean studio Fincon. Angel Stone takes place in a universe mixing fantasy with elements from various mythologies. During the gameplay, we join the Resistance, a human army fighting a war against Legion, an army of darkness which managed to defeat the Angels, and now continues to lay waste to Earth. Before we begin our adventure, we need to create a hero, choosing one from three available classes (Berserker, Gunslinger, and Shadow Mage), each offering a different combat style. The players are left with a vast single player campaign, as well as cooperation mode, or a real-time, crossplatform PvP module. Additionally, the game offers a typical character development system, in which titular Angel Stones as used as means to unlock new abilities.

A sequel to the unconventional, multiplayer action game developed under the aegis of Electronic Arts Corporation by PopCap Games - a studio which until then specialized in casual games. The story of the game once again focuses on the rivalry between plants and zombies. This time, the player is tasked with reclaiming a small city called Suburbia from the hands of living dead. The gameplay of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is similar to the one from the first installment in the series and focuses mostly on multiplayer modes. The player can choose from more than hundred “heroes”, possessing different weapons and special abilities. Among them are both the heroes known from the first game, as well as completely new ones (it is also possible to import your favorite characters from the previous game). Frostbite engine, known from such AAA games as Battlefield or Need for Speed, is responsible for the high quality of the game's visual aspects.

An economic strategy game by Belarusian studio Halfbus. The title is a full-fledged version of the free-to-play prototype created for the Ludum Dare contest. You play as a scientist, who cannot gather funds for his research the legitimate way and decides to produce drugs. After finding a suitable location, you get to work and cook small amounts of narcotics for local addicts. As your business grows, you hire helpers and security, and produce more illegal substances, controlling larger parts of the market. With time, you also gain the attention of law enforcement. If you overcome all adversities, you will be able to retire. I you don't, you'll end up in jail, but it doesn't necessarily mean the game is over, as you can escape and start anew with what's left of your money.

An episodic noir adventure story developed by Prologue Games. The action takes place in Cypress Knee, a small town located in the swampy region of Southern Florida. The story begins with an alleged suicide of a washed-out Hollywood star whose corpse is found hanging from a tower at a local amusement park. However, some of the evidence contradicts the leading theory, while the case is investigated by three individuals: a private detective, a local journalist, and a popular blogger. The game allows the players to control each of the characters. When it comes to mechanics, Knee Deep is a typical point’n’click adventure game, but the authors have decided upon an interesting way of depicting the story – we are watching an interactive play: all events happen on one scene, while individual locations are created from mockups and scenery elements.
