The massive recoil allows Kick to jump over chasms, climb onto high ledges, and solve occasional environmental puzzles. This simple mechanic proves extremely interesting and intense, but most importantly, it delivers fresh experiences throughout all the 40 levels of the story campaign. Moreover, the 3D character and location models feature colorful style that is bound to please many players.

An incredibly extensive strategy game created by Warfare Sims in cooperation with Slitherine - a renowned publishing company. The player is given an opportunity to take control of a fleet consisting of aircraft carriers, support ships, as well as attack and transport planes. The player takes part in dozens of scenarios referencing both historical events and fictional operations set in the near future. Both large-scope and smaller operations can be conducted here, but what really needs to be noted is that the creators were very diligent when recreating both the battlegrounds and the massive number of different factors affecting military operations. What is also worth mentioning, the game offers an advanced AI of both the enemies and the player's subordinates - they are all capable of applying various tactics. As a result, the AI can be left in charge of certain actions.

Stranger of Sword City is a dark fantasy, first-person jRPG dungeon crawler developed by Experience. The game is also known as Stranger in Alda and Stranger of the Village of the Sword. We play as the titular stranger, whose plane crashes after an encounter with a mysterious portal. Being the only survivor of the crash, we end up in the legendary sword city Escario. Our only goal is to find our way back home. The problem is that the citizens of Escario claim that our protagonist is the chosen one who will save them from the forces of darkness. In terms of mechanics, Stranger of the Sword City is a typical jRPG. We explore the world, complete various quests, and fight with various enemies and bosses in turn-based battles. The latter ones can come back to life, and the only way of defeating them is to destroy a mysterious crystal.

In combat, we try to avoid taking damage by hiding behind elements of our surroundings and constantly switching position. Aside from the major players, the land is roamed by numerous smaller parties such as samurai, ronin, ninja clans, pirates, or mercenaries. The action is seen from an isometric perspective, while the map is divided into hexagonal fields. The combat is turn-based – each side throws dice to deal damage and perform special actions. Moreover, we can utilize action cards, offering bonuses such as additional critical chance or more action points. Morale is also an important factor, increasing the effectiveness of our units.

An MMORPG featuring manga-style art, which is the debut of Lion Games - a Korean developer. The player is taken to Cloudrealm - a town abandoned by humans and ruled by hordes of demons. The players take on the roles of teenagers, the titular Soul Workers who stand up to the enemy from hell. They have to discover the causes behind Cloudrealm's collapse and reverse the effects of the catastrophe. The experience focuses on fighting demons, and the actual gameplay resembles a typical Asian arcade hack'n'slash game. The player-controlled fighter belongs to one of the four character classes, and a significant part of the gameplay focuses on cooperating with others in order to complete subsequent story quests, as well as to defeat more and more powerful enemies. The special character cards are also useful in combat, as one makes use of them in a way similar to standard character skills, and the player receives them as prizes for completing assignments.

We play as a gifted motorcyclist named Alice, known under her nickname as the “Red biker”. Aside from that, game offers no classic plot, focusing on motorcycling challenges. In terms of gameplay. Super Night Riders combines features of typical racing games with those of casual productions from the endless runner genre. Our position at the finish does not matter – we have to proceed as far as possible, avoiding bikes of our rivals. The only other requirement is to reach checkpoints before we run out of time. To diversify the game, we are offered six different tracks, divided into 36 special stages. Super Night Riders is powered by the Unity engine and stands out with its simplified three-dimensional visuals.

In Mystery Castle you play as a wizard called Monty, who is tasked with protecting the eponymous five castles from the forces of evil. Every stage of the game features slightly different objectives and fulfilling them gains you crystals, which are used to proceed to the next stage. To gather them, you have to solve logic puzzles in which you have to use the elements of the environment, the spells you know, and your equipment, which includes e.g. a magic lamp that helps you find hidden passages, or special potions that can change you into various animals with unique abilities. At the end of every stage there is a boss, and to defeat them you have to make a clever use of the elements you have encountered in the previous locations.

Most of the missions can be finished in two ways – you can either keep a low profile, or engage in open combat. The game features more than 30 types of weapons and an advanced AI which adjusts to your playing style.

A 2D action game inspired by the classic shooters for Commodore 64 and Amiga computers, such as Flashback or Another World. The hero of Exile’s End investigates a space colony to find out why it has lost contact with Earth. He soon finds out that his employers have been conducting some shady experiments. Gameplay wise, Exile’s End is a mix of platformer and action game. We explore the planet’s surface and fend off enemies with various weapons, with a boss waiting at the end of each level. Aside from the story campaign, which lasts several hours, the game offers a survival mode, in which we go through a series of crowded stages of increasing difficulty and upgrade our weapons and equipment between the levels. The old school 2D visuals of Exile’s End resemble classics of the 8- and 16-bit era, as does the soundtrack composed by Keiji Yamagishi (Ninja Gaiden, Tecmo Bowl, Captain Tsubasa).

The third installment in the turn-based jRPG franchise, developed by Level 5 for Nintendo portable devices. The story takes place in the American town of St. Peanutsburg, where the series' protagonist moves in with his parents. It quickly turns out that the place is also inhabited by Yo-Kai, friendly critters that no one is able to see, save for the protagonist. Using his unique ability, he tries to befriend them and together with them help the other citizens. The gameplay is combat-oriented; every fight involves two groups consisting of three characters each, and all attacks are based on the gestures drawn on the console's touchpad. Similar mechanics are also used when exploring the game's world, where many varied minigames await. Yo-Kai Watch: Sushi is one of the two variants of the game, each featuring different available critters and minor plot details.

A minimalistic sports/action game developed by independent studio Action Button Entertainment. The gameplay mechanics in VIDEOBALL combine basketball, soccer, American football and perhaps even reference the popular coin football. The matches are played on small, rectangle courts and both players (and teams) are tasked with placing the ball in the gate or the gate area of the opponent. The ball is moved by shooting it with triangle bullets that can also be used to block the movements and shots of the opponent. The game is fast-paced and before starting playing it one can set the details of gameplay rules. VIDEOBALL also allows matches against the artificial intelligence, but unleashes its true potential only in multiplayer mode, where the players are challenging each other or in teams of two or three players.

You meet her at the porch of a country house. The gameplay is very simple, and you interact with the virtual environment by making gestures. From time to time, the students ask you questions, which you can answer by nodding or shaking your head. Sometimes you also choose an answer by looking at one of the icons floating in mid-air.

When the girl enters adolescence, their relations worsen. While traveling on a train, the protagonists meet a mysterious creature that lets them look at their past from a different perspective. The gameplay in Blackwood Crossing is based on exploration of the environment, having conversations with non-player characters, and making various kinds of decisions. The choices we make not only have an influence on subsequent stages of the story but also its climax. The game is also enriched by simple logic puzzles. The title is powered by Unity Engine technology and boasts high-quality three-dimensional cartoon graphics.

A mobile first-person perspective shooter based on the movie Suicide Squad which, in turn, was based on the popular comic series Suicide Squad. The story of the game is loosely based on the plot of the movie. However, it is just an excuse for the actual gameplay. During the game the player assumes the role of one of the members of the titular Suicide Squad, a secret task force consisting of supervillains forced into submission. The action is shown from first-person perspective and the gameplay focuses on eliminating hordes of monsters swarming through the city of Midway. Three playable characters are available in Suicide Squad: Special Ops - Deadshot, Diablo and Harley Quinn. Each one of them has unique attacks and abilities that can be activated after filling a special meter. No matter which character you choose, two remaining ones are controlled by artificial intelligence.

A short first-person exploration game designed for VR headsets. The title of the game, Home is Where One Starts… comes from the poem Four Quartets by Thomas S. Eliot. The game is a sort of poetic visual story with such themes as childhood, memories, and hope. Interestingly, this is a work of basically one man, who only used the help of his closest family. Home is Where One Starts… tells a story of a teenage girl who leaves her home for school early in the morning, but misses her bus. This somewhat unfortunate event turns into an opportunity for the girl to have a lonely walk, during which she explores her neighborhood. At the foundation of gameplay lies exploration of in-game environments and discovering new places and objects, which triggers comments from the protagonist, thus gradually revealing her story and emotions. How much you learn about the girl’s life depends only on your diligence and inquisitiveness. Home is Where One Starts… has notably polished audiovisuals filled with meaningful details, featuring environments inspired by typical landscapes of the Southern United States.

Despite the “hearts and minds” philosophy, our units often fall under enemy fire or are struck by IEDs, creating tough situations that have to be addressed with due attention. The game sports simple, warm visuals that offer fluid gameplay even on mobile platforms.

One can improve their skills not only when competing against other players from all over the globe, as the game also includes an offline practice mode. The game extends the concepts behind the studio's previous creation - Pool Live Pro, depicting the action in an identical way, as it is viewed from above.

In Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assault, the player takes control of his own city, and fights against continuous waves of huge monsters. The cities are composed of a few districts that can be rotated 360 degrees. When the enemy attacks, the players have to manipulate the individual districts in real time so that the right installations can target certain vulnerable types of monsters. At the same time, the game has a complex storyline and a number of heroes that are introduced through cut-scenes stylized as a visual novel. Additionally, the game mixes features of real time strategies, tower defense games, city-building simulators, as well as arcade titles.

This results in every female trying to hit on him in more than aggressive way, after as little as a single glance. To lift the curse, our hero must find his true love before the sunset and avoid getting caught by other girls. Gameplay wise, Gal*Gun: Double Peace is a classic rail shooter, with us controlling only the crosshair. We are armed with special pistol that shoots pheromones, which will drive attacking girls to euphoria and thus stopping them from confessing their love to Hodai.

During the encounters, we make use of around 100 types of weapons, items, and skills, influencing not only the looks, but also the abilities of our character. The game uses the popular Unreal Engine 4 technology, and can show high-quality 2.5D visuals for it, along with eye-catching details and special effects.

The Order 99 is a first-person action game held in the convention of survival horror, developed as the debut production of Burning Arrow, in cooperation with a somewhat more experienced studio, Deck 13. The events take place on a hostile isle near Scotland. The players control a character who wakes up amidst these unfriendly circumstances, having absolutely no information about the place or the reason for being there. The only thing that the protagonist carries is a short note, suggesting an escape route from the island. The core of the gameplay is exploration, during which the players learn the gloomy story of the island and gather resources that help them survive (such as food, weapon elements). There is a lot of freedom in the game, however the priorities of the player are not always in line with those of other inhabitants. In order to solve the mystery of the island, the player will have to make a series of moral choices, and interact with the people he encounters, which will allow him to obtain useful information.

A competition-oriented, online multiplayer action game created by DONTNOD Eleven - a French developer. The players assume the roles of charismatic space pirates fighting over the greatest treasures in the galaxy. The game offers four character classes - each has unique attacks and moves differently. Two teams of eight players at maximum fight one another here. Depending on the game mode, the players' goal is to gather as much gold as they can or eliminate all the enemies. The experience is enhanced with an extensive social component. Between the matches, the player can visit the so-called Tortuga, which is the social center of the game, located at a space station. There, the player can check rankings and others' statistics, begin a session with newly met pirates or take part in various challenges allowing to unlock new maps, characters, skins, additional shouts and game modes.

The main protagonist, Amelia, lives in the flying city Granaria. To make a living, the girl catches fish dwelling high in the clouds, and she is aware of the social inequalities of this sky utopia. What is important to the story, are the conflicts between different group of fishers who fight over access to rich fisheries. The action of Airheart is presented in top-down perspective. Exploration and catching fish play key roles in the title. By selling fish, you earn money that can be spent on upgrades for your flying vessel, which enables you to reach higher layers of atmosphere and face more powerful enemies. The landing ground serves as an excursion base where you trade, build new vessel elements, and get to learn the plot.

An endless runner game by A Crowd of Monsters, set in an alternative version of ancient Greece. As Perseus, you face the Titans of rap, pop, and rock music, who divert people's attention from the favorite genre of the Black Zeus, the Lord of Funk. Like in other endless runner games, you can't control the direction the protagonist is heading to or his speed — you can only react to obstacles by jumping or eliminating them. The game consists of forty main levels and some bonus ones, utilizing mechanics similar to those of the popular Jetpack Joyride. Funk of Titans also features a distinct brand of humor, mostly present during the fully voiced dialogues.

In a series of episodes, we assume the role of various machines, the main task of which is to discover the human nature and reasons for the fall of a whole civilization. The action in The Uncertain is seen from a first-person perspective, while the gameplay involves exploring diverse environments, acquiring information from leftover notes and journals, and finally, solving various riddles. The latter focus on manipulating various items and elements of the environment, often forcing the player to think unconventionally. High-quality visuals are achieved thanks to the Unity engine, with atmospheric, ambient soundtrack complementing the visual side.

A snooker simulator from Cherry Pop Games, an independent studio, known for Pool Nation, and it’s reedition, Pool Nation FX. When it comes to mechanics, Snooker Nation Championship doesn’t differ much from its predecessor. For the players unaccustomed to the game itself, an accessible tutorial has been prepared, introducing the gamers to basic controls, for example, placing the balls, or applying necessary rotation. Playing solo, we can compete with AI in championships, which are comprised of elimination bout and 5 rounds of the main tournament. In multiplayer modes, we can face other players in a local mode, or take part in ranked online matches. In case of the multiplayer modes, the game allows us to set some basic parameters of the game. The players can also customize their equipment, including cues and balls. Snooker Nation Championship incorporates three-dimensional visuals and realistic physics, making the balls act exactly the same as if on a real pool table.

In order to deal with new challenges, the players can use various preventive means, such as an early warning system or evacuation. A radio is used to warn the people, and during peaceful times it can be used for listening to new music tracks. The Natural Disasters expansion introduces a long-awaited novelty – scenario mode that enables the player to create custom missions with a selected starting city and winning conditions. The created missions can be shared through the Steam Workshop.

On the surface, the heroine must face various challenges but her alchemic knowledge and mining experience help her get out of trouble. Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey is a new opening for the entire series, introducing many new solutions into the gameplay. Among these, the biggest game world in history of the franchise is the most noteworthy, as well as previously unavailable abilities and the possibility of shaping the world with the decisions you make. Turn-based combat is another very important element. In combat, we can use not only standard and special attacks but also bombs, poisons, and other equipment crafted by Firis.

A combination of a two-dimensional platformer and a logic game created by the independent studio Brainseed Factory. The player assumes the role of an original protagonist, composed of four letters: "H", "E", "R" and "O", who traverses a dark world filled with threats. Exploring a fantasy land, avoiding countless traps, jumping across platforms and solving puzzles requiring the player to manipulate letters and create new words - these activities constitute the pillar of the game's mechanics. Creating words from letters is the key feature of the game, and this is how the player deactivates various traps and gains access to new locations. For instance, in order to open a gate, the player has to assemble the word "OPEN" from the four words given. Furthermore, the player often encounters various enemies capable of tearing the protagonist into shreds. Combat in this game requires us to create antonyms of words. A dark atmosphere present in the game was not built not only on a the minimalistic color palette applied by the developers, but also thanks to the soundtrack composed by musicians belonging to the Dutch sound producer SonicPicnic.

A first person adventure game featuring some exploration elements, developed by British Pixel Spill. The game takes players to an alternative version of the 1980s - the main protagonist is an astronaut tasked with a peculiar investigation. He is to discover the secret behind the lost communications with a Soviet space station. Upon reaching the place, our character quickly discovers that the crew have vanished. To make things even worse, many of the station’s systems are in a miserable condition. As one might easily guess, it is none other than the main protagonist, who has to solve the mystery of whatever happened. Gameplay revolves around the exploration of the space station, which is even more attractive due to the zero gravity mechanics. During the game, one has to gather clues and pieces of evidence that gradually reveal the pieces of the storyline puzzle. Occasionally, players will face some logical puzzles as well. The entire experience features 3D visuals - what is worth noticing, all the items, paintings and structures are modeled after their real counterparts from the 1980s. Whenever that was not possible (e.g. due to a fantastical nature of the items in the game), the objects were modeled to feature similar aesthetic.

Subsiege is an original blend of a real-time strategy and a MOBA game developed by the German studio Icebird. The game takes place in the second part of the 21st century, when almost all of the Earth's natural resources are depleted. The depths of seas are the last place where they can be found. This leads to a full-scale underwater war for those exact resources. Before we start, we have to chose a couple of ships from the available ones. We will be able to use and construct only them during the RTS matches. As we play, we will have to build special structures that will gather the resources and will have to lead a group of combat units to battle. Each ship has a limited amount of oxygen, so we will have to gather as much resources as possible before our crew members face asphyxiation. We can increase our oxygen supplies by gathering oxygen tanks from destroyed enemy ships. The game offers a multiplayer mode (both co-op and competitive) along with a single player campaign. The game's PvP world has a permanent nature and constantly changes as a result of players' actions.
