Middle-earth: Shadow of War for mobile devices is a strategy game based on the free-to-play business model with optional microtransactions. In spite of identical title as the action adventure game published on PC and consoles, it is an entirely separate project. The plot, however, is somewhat similar and focuses on the war between Sauron and a Ranger known by the name of Talion, who shares his body with Celebrimbor - an elven wraith. The game for mobile devices builds on collecting characters known from The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, and has the player assemble small teams to lead them to real-time battles. Each warrior features unique statistics, weapons, and special abilities, which when activated can turn the tides of a battle. Each character can be developed in terms of combat skills, which the player can adjust to their preferred tactics.

Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne is the sixth expansion for the free-to-play card game Hearthstone. It was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and can be bought through the game’s store for either real or in-game currency. This expansion focuses on Lich King’s army and his kingdom of Northrend. Just like the Whispers of the Old Gods DLC, Knights of the Frozen Throne tells an alternate version of the well-known events. This time we will see what would have happened if the greatest heroes of Azeroth (Jauna Proudmoore, Rexxar, and others) became Death Knights, the undead servants of the Lich King. Knights of the Frozen Throne continues Blizzard’s policy of not releasing small Adventure DLCs and focusing on bigger ones. We get a set of 135 cards inspired by the Lich King’s army and the theme of death, including nine cards of a completely new type – Hero Cards. After using them, our hero changes into a Death Knight, gets a new portrait, war cry, ability, and a few points of armor which allows us to change our play style. We can test the new cards in PvP matches or in the single player campaign, during which we will be able to face the Lich King himself. The expansion also introduces a new battlefield and card backs.

The game features a single player mode and a co-op multiplayer mode for two players. There are also online rankings and special challenges to complete. The game features, surprisingly, for an FPS, cartoonish cel-shaded visuals.

In the game, the player assumes the role of various sportsmen participating in the titular competition held by the mysterious Mr. Entertainment, whose dynamic commentary accompanies each race. After choosing a character, one is tasked with beating the futuristic track in the shortest amount of time possible. The competition takes place across diverse locations such as ancient ruins, mountain peaks, caves, or streets of futuristic cities. Each track is filled with numerous obstacles that one has to overcome, i.e. traps such as mines, as well as a number of power-ups including energy weapons and temporary boosters. Gameplay builds on multiplayer competition allowing up to 8 players to race against each other. Developers have also prepared a set of special challenges for those who prefer to play alone.

A tactical multiplayer RPG set in the universe of Warhammer, released for mobile platforms. Mordheim: Warband Skirmish takes the players into the eponymous city of Mordheim, five hundred years before the events in the main timeline of Warhammer. A comet fell down from the sky in that area, bringing a precious mineral with it. It is for that resource that several factions went to war against one another, having turned the city into an arena of never-ending fighting. The player joins the conflict leading a self-composed team of adventurers. Gameplay is about exploration of in-game levels and fighting with enemies encountered on the way as well as gathering the aforementioned mineral. Skirmishes are played in a turn-based mode with a camera set in an isometric perspective. Before starting the game you recruit mercenaries representing a specific faction and specialization. As they progress, those characters gain better and better equipment and skills. However, death here is permanent, so the dead or heavily wounded adventurers must be replaced by new ones.

During the game, you find waffles and garden gnomes that allow you to unlock bonus elements. The visuals are inspired by old 8-bit console productions. Each of them represents different values, but their paths cross with each other, leading to new story threads and intriguing plot twists. The gameplay is typical for the genre. During the game the player is traveling through a vast world, completing various contracts and participating in turn-based battles in which the key to success lies in using individual skills of various characters. Their combat potential can be increased by joining guilds, obtaining more powerful equipment and using a specific skill frequently.

Throughout diverse locations, one has to hunt multiple creatures, including both smaller ones and those much larger than a submarine. Occasionally, the player can participate in one of nine special events. Earth Atlantis delivers memorable visuals, featuring style inspired by Medieval sketches.

On the other hand, you can command one of several character classes, including an operator with a shield, or a breacher armed either with a shotgun or a submachine gun. It is also worth to use police tactics, such as breaching through windows and skylights, or classically, by kicking down doors. At any moment you can also invite a friend to play with you, as the game offers both local and online co-op mode. Door Kickers: Action Squad uses old-school stylistics, combined with modern light effects.

During the game the player controls princess Madelyn who was forced to fight evil in order to save the kingdom and her family. The gameplay of Battle Princess Madelyn relates to classic titles like Ghosts ’n Goblins and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. The game focuses on the agility of the player, making him escape traps and jump between platforms while fighting skeletons, demons and big bosses. At the beginning of the game Madelyn lacks any armor and powerful weapons, but she is accompanied by the ghost of a dead dog named Fritzy. After some time the pair gains new weapons and better powers that enable them to, among other things, shoot fire. The levels hide many secrets, including secret areas. The game also features two versions of soundtrack – one references 8-bit consoles and another is a modern version of it.

Shovel Knight Dig is a 2D platformer in which the title knight goes on a journey underground. The player must dig down the map, fight enemies, collect treasures and improve the hero's equipment. All this was shown in retro style, modelled on 16-bit productions.
