Another spin-off of the Resident Evil series, realized by Capcom in the convention of a target on rails. Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword is set in Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth during the 17th century, drawing inspiration from the works of a Polish novelist, Henryk Sienkiewicz. As per the series' tradition, we play the role of an adventurer trying to find his place in a world engulfed in conflicts. The gameplay is based on the original Mount & Blade, being a mix of RPG and strategy game. With Fire and Sword brings some novelties to the series: changes to the open-world environment, the introduction of firearms and historical formations (e.g. the famous Polish Hussars), as well as fictionalized side quests, often given by characters from Sienkiewicz's novels.

God Eater is an action RPG developed by Namco Bandai for PlayStation Portable. The game takes place in an undefined dystopian future. We begin our adventure right in the middle of a conflict between Aragami, god-like creatures that attacked our planet, and God Eaters, the only humans capable of defeating the invaders. We play as one of them, and our task is to defeat the Aragami. Three other heroes aid us in combat. We use a powerful and universal weapon, Deus Ex Machina, when fighting our enemies. We can transform it into a blade, a gun, or the weapon's special form anytime we want to. The last one allows us to drain life force from our enemies and strengthen our shields, or use the Aragami's special attacks against them. The developers created over one hundred levels and many types of enemies, each characterized by its various strengths and weaknesses.

In terms of mechanics, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja resembles famous open-world action franchises, such as Grand Theft Auto or Saints Row. The difference lies in the setting, for instead of American streets, the player is taken to a ninja village and takes on the role of a vigorous teenager seeking recognition among other ninjas. In order to become Hokage, that is, the leader of the whole community, Naruto will have to face numerous demons and other dangerous enemies. The player explores the game world and talks to other characters in search of missions requiring them mostly to take part in spectacular battles, during which special powers typical for the series are used. All of this is complemented by cel-shaded, cartoonish visuals, which is typical for games belonging to the Naruto series.
