A mobile entry in the popular action games series that expands on a simple minigame, Hitman: Sniper Challenge, from 2012, which came out before the fifth installment in the Hitman series. Unlike the main installments, the game from Square Enix Montreal focuses strictly on sniping challenges, in which we have to silently eliminate our targets. Therefore, we can’t move and have to complete our task from a static position. Agent 47 has to locate his prey and can shoot only a single bullet, which is made more difficult due to the fact that most of the missions require you to locate your target in a crowded public space. This forces us to wait for appropriate time to shoot and eliminate it without getting spotted by other people. Completing each task earns us points that can be used to unlock and attach new upgrades to our sniping rifle.

A narrative-focused point-and-click adventure game and the debut project from the independent Dutch studio, Wispfire. Inspired by real events, the game is set in alternative version of the 19th century in which all western countries have been united under the banner of an empire known as the Protectorate. Players take the role a man named Devan Rensburgh, who seeks the truth of his origins while on his journey to Western Colonies of the empire. The protagonist ends up on board of the HLV Herald, a ship that is a true melting pot of cultures, and is forced to make several crucial decisions that will shape his future from now on. The game mechanics of Herald derive a lot from classic adventure games and focus based on exploration and numerous dialogues with NPCs. Furthermore, the game draws some inspiration from Telltale Games’ productions, focusing, instead of puzzles, on narration, character development and moral choices.

The pool of available heroes can be expanded by buying in-game packs. What’s more, characters gain experience with each battle and thus advance to higher levels. Clashes are loosely connected by a campaign in which the player moves between locations and faces various challenges. Apart from a single player mode, the title also offers a multiplayer for two players in various game modes. Heroes of Dragon Age features spectacular three-dimensional graphics.

Simultaneously, the in-game locations undergo slight changes, and the protagonist can use different abilities when a shift happens. Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 contains several episodes, dedicated to: France, Germany, Russia, and England. Developers put special emphasis on realism of gameplay and faithfulness to historical facts. Therefore, they took great care to meticulously recreate individual units (with their characteristic gear and weapons) as well as battlefields, which are based on authentic maps and archival materials from the early 20th century. Gameplay in Battle of Empires: 1914-1918 is characterized by its tactical depth, and so, it requires skillful use of environments as well as adjusting strategy to the constantly changing situation on a battlefield.

She embarks on a journey through the mysterious world, trying to learn all its secrets. On her way, she encounters extraordinary geological formations (such as drifting rocks), forgotten ruins, remnants of an advanced civilizations, friendly locals, etc. The protagonist's shapeshifting ability greatly helps in the exploration — you start out as a walking tree, and later unlock the forms of a flying griffin, aquatic azertash, and others. The game's attractive visuals were created with the CryEngine technology; additionally, Wander features an atmospheric soundtrack. The game was developed by an indie Australian studio.

The debut title from Shark Punch, an independent studio previously known from creating games for Disney Interactive. The Masterplan spins a crazy conspiracy theory, in which the Nixon administration’s decision to change the fixed exchange rate currency into a free floating one had a more sinister tone. When it comes to mechanics, we are looking at a mix of action game and a real-time strategy. Our goal is to create a team, acquire the necessary equipment and proceed with the titular “master plan” that is connected to the controversial move by the American government. The action is seen from a top-down view, while our duties include combat, as well as solving riddles that employ logic and physics. Our job is made easier thanks to an active pause that we can use during any moment of the game. The two-dimensional graphics are hand-drawn, and heavily influenced by 1970s, similarly to the soundtrack that consists of music tracks from that period.
