A collection of two remastered old-school role-playing games: Dragon Fantasy Book I and Book II. The titles included in the Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria edition take the player to the eponymous Westeria continent, where evil spreads its influence and two nations are warring for domination. The story is split into chapters, each featuring a different protagonist – actions of these heroes have significant impact on this world’s situation. The Dragon Fantasy series combines solutions typical of the classic representatives of the jRPG genre, such as Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, with a daring sense of humor characteristic of EarthBound. Apart from many adventures, conversations with non-player characters, and battles fought with randomly spawned opponents, the game could not miss out on a character progression system. Along with the story progression your heroes are gaining progressively better weapons and armor, as well as and more powerful spells. When it comes to audiovisuals, the games in the Dragon Fantasy series offer old-school graphics and retro sounds, resembling 8- and 16-bit titles.

Cube Creator 3D is a Minecraft-inpsired sandbox game developed by Big John Games for Nintendo 3DS. The game allows us to create our own kingdom in a randomly generated world. Cube Creator 3D has two primary game modes. In the Creative mode we explore the stereoscopic 3D fantasy world and modify it as we please. We use various tools and resources to do so. Survival mode, like its name suggests, focuses on survival. In it, we start empty handed and we have to find resources as soon as possible and use them to craft basic tools. We will need them to build shelters and create weapons, which we will definitely need to face the monsters living in the game's world. Like in many similar games, Cube Creator 3D's visuals are based on voxels.

An unusual logic puzzle production by Triada, resembling the popular shadow play children's game. In Shadowmatic, your task is to solve over 70 increasingly difficult puzzles. The puzzles involve manipulating objects that cast shadows on a nearby wall so that they'll assume a given shape (e.g. an animal or a household object). The task becomes increasingly complicated, since you have to rotate objects consisting of several parts each. If you have trouble, you can ask for hints or try a different challenge, as the campaign is non-linear and allows you to reach your goal in various ways. The game features well-made, artistic 3D visuals.

A sequel to the two-dimensional action game released in 2014. The new game was created by the authors of the previous game, the Inti Creates studio, mostly known for developing the Mega Man Zero miniseries. In Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 the player can experience the further adventures of Gunvolt and the characters known from the prequel, facing the corporation ruling the future world. The gameplay mechanics are similar as in the previous entry in the series, and the game focuses on traveling through levels and defeating numerous enemies. During the battles, the player can use both firearms and special powers of the protagonists. Battles against powerful bosses are most challenging because they also have many special abilities. The key to defeating them is finding a good tactic.

The developers took inspiration not only from 8-bit classics, but also 1980s science fiction anime. The action of Capsule Force takes place in a distant future, in the eve of an intergalactic war. With the threat of apocalypse looming nearby, the galactic leaders have decided to begin an aggressive program of colonization, using futuristic capsules, which creates various internal conflicts. The players choose one of the two warring factions, with the objective to retrieve the capsule taken over by the enemy. Each arena pits two two-manned teams against each other. The key to success lies in the right use of a vast arsenal of weapons and energetic shields and avoiding traps that are laid in large numbers in enemy base. Capsule Force also contains a single player mode, which acts as a form of practice. The game is complemented by 8-bit, pixel-art visuals.

Alien: Isolation - The Trigger is the fifth and final DLC for the science fiction horror game Alien: Isolation developed by Creative Assembly. This DLC is available for the game's season pass owners, but can also be bought separately. The expansion takes place prior to the events of the main game. We play as Ricardo, who, along with his supervisor, tries to remove a xenomorph from Sewastopol's deck. The Trigger does not introduce any new game modes or features and focuses on the already known Survivor mode. We explore three previously inaccessible areas of Sewastopol, with the disabled robot storage being one of them. All the time we have to hide from the murderous alien creature and the less, but still, dangerous androids. The entire expansion is a nice challenge for those who like survival because the new maps are filled with narrow corridors where it's difficult to find a hideout. The Alien that hunts us moves fast and is extremely responsive to any kind of activity or action we take.

Fighting them, the protagonist uses new items (including weapons and armor) that prove useful especially during the final boss battle against a powerful demon that possesses the ability of dynamically switching his powers. The game brings a continuation to a well-received hybrid of a turn-based strategy and an RPG. Braveland Wizard was created by Tortuga Team and casts the player in the role of a female Magic Academy student who sets out on a journey out of hunger for adventure. The protagonist traverses a fantasy world, facing hordes of orcs, ghosts and dangerous nomads. The player explores the game world, completes various story-based missions and side quests, as well as talks to NPCs, trades with merchants and fights the enemies encountered. During the turn-based battles, the player commands a team of characters they have recruited - they make use of both melee weapons and offensive spells. Alongside progression, the player acquires new combat abilities, equipment and spells that fall into three separate schools of magic. Also, the player can improve the previously acquired ones and buy different upgrades for one's subordinates. As compared to the original game, the visuals have not changed considerably - Braveland Wizard comes with cartoonish, eye-pleasing visuals.

The gameplay of Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows is almost completely the same as its predecessor. We are given a mix of an action game, RPG, and a platform game – the game focuses on exploration of two-dimensional levels, and facing the encountered enemies. The new hero forces the players to develop completely new tactics – even if most of the journey takes place in reused locations, the new hero is not equipped with the trademark shovel – he makes use of bombs and short-distance flying. The list of novelties is complemented by new enemies and bosses.

Since a ghost's presence can’t always be detected with the naked eye, the heroine has to resort to a special radio that, after finding the proper wave frequency, helps her prepare for the possible attack in advance. The dark atmosphere of Oxenfree is complemented by climatic graphics, employing common horror movie filters, as well as an ominous soundtrack.

There is a system of dynamic missions and challenges that change not only for each user, but also for the whole community, and the new tutorial named Skill Quest lets players learn the rules easily. Deck Builder has also been improved, with in-game tips helping us in constructing our decks. Magic Duels: Origins offers Solo Battle mode to face off against artificial intelligence if we don’t want to duel with other people.

An online shooter taking place during the American Civil War. The game was developed by Campfire Games, for which War of Rights is the debut project. The developers introduced a number of historic campaigns that allow us to choose a side, as well as our duties on the battlefield – we can assume the role of a frontline soldier, or a general who controls the whole battle from the headquarters. The player who chooses the role of a commander stays in the base and makes strategic decisions that have to go through the whole chain of command in real time until they reach the captains of the individual regiments. Frontline commanders can either comply and execute the order, or incite a mutiny and act as they see fit. The battles take place in authentic locations, while soldiers of both Union and Confederacy use the same weapons and wear the same uniforms that were used during the conflict.

Devious Dungeon 2 is a platform game released on mobile platforms. To finish each level, we have to find a key that unlocks a portal. Many traps and enemies will try to stop us from doing so. The RPG elements allow us to spend the experience points we gained on leveling up our character. There are three heroes available in Devious Dungeon 2, each of them having their own class, skills, and equipment. We can choose to play as a barbarian, a rogue, or a mage. Barbarian uses the heaviest pieces of equipment and is more resistant to damage. Rogue is the fastest hero who can do double jumps. Mage has access to many useful spells, like levitation.

A futuristic first-person shooter, in which the player gets to explore an uncharted planet and has to fight robots as well as artificial intelligence. Throughout fifteen chapters, one has to face ten types of adversaries, including powerful bosses. To eliminate all the enemies, the player can use five kinds of weapons, e.g. a futuristic chainsaw, a shotgun, or a rocket launcher. Combat takes place in relatively small and closed locations, as well as in open areas. In the latter case, the player often gets to control a large space tanks. In terms of mechanics, SickBrick draws its inspirations from classic games representing the FPS genre, such as the first installment in the Quake series. The game offers only a single player mode, in which the player can use the map editor in order to design his own locations as well as modify the already existing ones.

The unofficial seventh installment in the Wonder Boy/Monster World series, developed by Game Atelier. Although the studio does not own the rights to the brand, the game takes place in the same universe and the story fits this specific world. The game is set in a fantasy realm and you play as the eponymous Monster Boy, whose task is to lift a powerful curse. To achieve that, you have to complete a range of levels and use the protagonist's unusual powers, which allow him to change into five kinds of beings — you use their abilities both when fighting enemies and solving puzzles. Although Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom references popular 1980s platform games, there are also role-playing elements. The game features oldschool 2D visuals, resembling legendary 16-bit productions.

A MOBA game by Neocat, utilizing a free-to-play model with microtransactions (to buy skins and extra characters). The production is based on the ideas from the Korean version of the Dota: Chaos mod for Warcraft 3. Chaos Heroes Online is set in a fantasy world during a war between two factions: the Divine Union and Immortal Legion. There are over 60 characters to choose from, visually varied and possessing different abilities. The game focuses on using powerful potions, which can turn the tide of battle in the blink of an eye. Apart from that, there are also teleports, which you can use to instantly travel from one end of the map to another. You can also buy items without having to return to your base. The game's servers were shut down in 2015.

A tactical turn-based jRPG with surprising plot. The game was developed by Altair Works. The player leads an uprising of slimes that usually serve as a cannon fodder in such games. Decimated creatures discovered that they can control human bodies and they intend to take advantage of this ability. The gameplay in Ambition of the Slimes focuses on turn-based battles that take place on a tactical map. The fights are strongly unusual due to the abilities of the slimes. The control over human warriors can work in various ways – some slimes increase the statistics of the bodies they control, other are able to teleport or take over even the strongest foes. This makes the battles very varied and frequently requiring a tactical approach.

Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock is a first-person science fiction adventure game and a commercial remake of the popular flash adventure game Morningstar that was released in May 2009. We play as an astronaut who is the sole survivor of a mysterious space ship crash landing. He has to figure out what caused the crash of his and many other ships on the surface of an unknown planet and find a way to escape the peril. Gameplay in Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock uses the same mechanics as many point-and-click adventure games. We will be exploring more and more locations, solving various riddles, looking for useful items and figuring out how to make a good use of them. In comparison to its flash precursor, the game has a more complex plot, more locations, and more riddles. The new version also has much better visuals and high definition cut-scenes. Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock is fully voiced and comes with a remastered OST.

Up to eight players can take part in online duels at the same time, choosing from twelve unique machines and deciding which weapons they will use. The fights are fought in futuristic arenas, and thanks to the system of evading and shielding, the whole thing is extremely dynamic.

An improved and expanded version of the third entry in the humorous jRPG series. It uses satire to present the video game industry and console wars. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3 continues the plot from the previous entry in the series. The player assumes the role of one of the goddess of Gamindustri world. She is accidentally taken to an alternative dimension where her friends are at the brink of war. Her task is to cause all sides to make peace, defeat seven sages who threaten the world and find a way back home. The game is a typical turn-based jRPG filled with absurd humor, references to Japanese pop-culture and typical tropes from anime series and games. When compared to the original PlayStation 3 version, the new edition features modified interface, additional characters and new scenarios that were previously available as DLC.

Another module created for Digital Combat Simulator World, an advanced flight simulator. This time, aviation fans can use the CASA C-101 – a Spanish jet that was first put into service in 1975. The jet is available in two versions: traditional trainer and the more advanced ground attack variant. This machine wasn't very popular and currently is only used by the Spanish Air Force's national acrobatic team. The jet is recreated with attention to smallest details – both in its looks, construction (e.g. electric components, navigation, fuel and hydraulics systems) as well as its behavior in the air. In addition to that, accordingly to the rules of DCS World platform, players get access a fully interactive cockpit which can be customized. The module also supports online flights with other members of DCS World community.

A remastered edition of the adventure game developed by Quantic Dream, which debuted in 2005 on computers and sixth generation consoles. The story of the game takes place in the New York City in year 2009. The city is mortified by a series of brutal murders committed by otherwise lawful citizens for no apparent reasons. The player assumes the role of Kane, a man who, haunted by strange visions, kills a person he was completely unfamiliar with. The second playable character is inspector Carla Valenti who, together with her partner, is investigating the mysterious murders. The objective of the game is to determine who is responsible for those acts. The game puts great focus on story, exploration, and conversations with characters. The new version of the game has introduced game controller support and greatly refreshed graphics. What’s interesting, during the game one can freely switch between the original and remastered visuals.
