Its story is set in the distant future, in which humanity has colonized many foreign star systems. The game doesn’t offer much of a backstory though, focusing on online skirmishes for teams of up to five players. Each players takes control of a powerful ship belonging to one of several classes, each equipped with a different set of on-board system and weaponry. However, every capital ship is the core of an armada of smaller ships, which we control like units in classic RTS titles. As we progress through the game, those units can be upgraded, and their detailed layouts can be decide separately. The outcomes of battles between factions shape the game's the universe.

The production also features a variety of enemies and a whole range of ridiculous activities. Apart from changed visuals - now kept in a fantasy style - there are loads of bugs just like in the original title - many of them are implemented on purpose.

Ego Protocol is a logic/arcade game developed by the Polish studio Static Dreams. The game won The Jam competition organized by the 1ndieWorld website, where competitors had to create a game in the spirit of the classic Polish platformer Electro Body. In Ego Protocol we have to manipulate the game's environment in order for our hero to reach his destination and avoid all sorts of dangers that await him. Each of the forty five game levels is made of a dozen or so square blocks which we can move around in order to create a path to the portal for our character. In addition to our impact on the game's environment, we can give our hero simple orders to make him avoid the traps or deal with the enemies. Gameplay is fast-paced and relies heavily on the player's reflexes. The game has simple 2D visuals full of gloomy colors.

In Distant Star: Revenant Fleet players lead the A'kari race that must rebuild its shattered fleet and regain its military power so they can finally face the ruthless Orthani. The gameplay is a little bit similar to the cult classic series Homeworld but the difference here is that the events are not presented in full 3D but from a top-down perspective. Battles take place in a randomly generated galaxy and, depending on the choices made throughout the game, the players can experience a different story. We can choose from many units that can be created from scratch by equipping them with different weapons, on-board systems and special modules. The game gives players a lot of room for tactics and requires them to be able to adapt to circumstances that can change at any moment, which means that the fleet must be constantly upgraded. With battles comes experience that allows the players to unlock new technologies and prepare their armies for the final confrontation.

Izle is an arcade RPG developed by Area Effect. The game takes us to a fantasy land that drifts in space and is the last remaining piece of reality that was left after a great war. It has to be mentioned that the contents of every island are generated procedurally. As we play, we will explore giant forests, grim dungeons, and weird structures made of elements. Gameplay focuses on doing various quests, fighting with enemies, gathering more and more powerful equipment, and leveling up our character through a classless progression system - we can freely chose the skills and abilities we want to use during our adventures. She makes a promise which saves her from death. According to this obligation, she is supposed to help a group of people led by Atlas in their return to the underwater city of Rapture. In contrast to BioShock: Infinite and the first expansion, it focuses mainly on stealth. An additional feature of the game is the 1998 game mode (reminiscent of Thief's release date), which requires the player to complete the entire game without killing anybody.

Once again, the plot focuses on Redbeard and his gang of Vikings who venture on a dangerous journey. What makes Swords & Soldiers II stand out among other similar games are the mechanics. Gameplay mixes the elements from RTS', side-scrolling arcades, and tower defense games. The game focuses on the rivalry between the two enemies whose bases are located on the opposite sides of the map. The players have to conquer the enemy's stronghold. To achieve that, they have to develop their bases, create more units, and gather the essential resources. Swords & Soldiers II offers single player and split-screen multiplayer modes. The game has easy on the eye, comic-book inspired visuals.

A compilation of two games developed by an independent British studio, Puppy Games, now re-released on PlayStation consoles. The package contains Titan Attacks! and Revenge of the Titans – two titles previously released on PC in 2011 and 2012 respectively. The first game is a two-dimensional retro shooter, heavily inspired by the classic Space Invaders. We assume the role of a commander of the last tank on Earth, and our objective is to save the planet from invading hordes of aliens. Revenge of the Titans is a classic tower defense title – the player builds various defensive structures which are to repel continuous waves of attacking enemies. Both games return with a reworked interface, and are now running in 60 frames per second. As could be expected, the controls have been remapped to fit a console gamepad (or PS Vita buttons).

The developers decided to recreate 200 authentic aircraft, including serial models, as well as prototypes. The flight model is definitely arcade, but the game boasts an advanced AI module, which gives the AI pilots the ability to adapt to our playstyle and cooperate with each other. The game employs cel-shading technology, which is an unusual visual style for the genre, giving the game a bit of a cartoonish feel. Vector Thrust is characterized by a wide range of customization, allowing the players to modify practically every aspect of the gameplay, while the open file structure makes the game very modder-friendly.

Steven Universe: Save the Light is a sequel to the mobile game Attack on Light developed by GrumpyFace Studios. The game is based on the universe from one of the Cartoon Network's animated TV series, but tells a completely different story. We play as the titular Steven who, accompanied by his friends, has to stop a mysterious villain from destroying the world. Combat in Steven Universe: Save the Light is turn-based. Our party can be made up from up to four from the eight available characters that appeared in the cartoon. Each of the available heroes has their own unique abilities. Using them properly is important in achieving victory. The game's visuals are almost identical to the looks of the cartoon that inspired it.
