The game also offers lots of tuning options, such as the possibility of replacing the engine, installing a turbo, changing breaks configuration, etc. As far as tracks are concerned, the developers designed about 60 locations in 18 different environments. The title offers completely fictional speedways as well as those based on actual places (e.g. Laguna Seca or Silverstone). Thanks to significantly higher technical capabilities of Xbox 360, the graphics were greatly improved and adapted to the HDTV standards.

A simplistic, two-dimensional adventure game based on the Flash technology and developed by Amanita Design - a Czech game-making studio. Anyone can play the game for free, using their internet browser. The player takes on the role of an alien inhabiting a huge root suspended in space. One day, he spots a gigantic asteroid heading towards him. He quickly makes his way to its surface, where his task is to find a way to change the asteroid's flight direction and save his home. It is a simplistic adventure game deprived of a typical player inventory for example. The player is not in full control of the protagonist's movements. Rather, the gameplay consists of a series of subsequent puzzles linked together by the storyline. The player's task is to make a good use of the objects displayed on the screen in order to access the next level. Samorost stands out with original visuals combining hand-drawn elements with adequately modified photographs.

Similarly to its predecessor, the game introduces the ability to travel along the European and American railways – including realas well as fictional tracks. The mainstay of the game is the Career System, consisting of 50 scenarios, in which we control different railway engines, trying to complete the given tasks. These include, for example, crossing a mountainous pass, saving passengers from a snowstorm, or controlling a train going over 200 kilometers per hour. Same as the previous edition, RailWorks 2 contains an advanced editor, which allows the player to not only design their own locomotives, railways, and scenarios, but also share them with the RailWorks community. The game is complemented by detailed 3D visuals, while the action is seen from several pre-defined camera views.
