The gameplay consists on expanding your village, gathering resources and developing new technologies, creating invincible armies (apart from standard units, your army may also include mythical heroes such as Perseus or Ramses, as well as fantastic beasts) and fighting enemies. Age of Empires: Mythologies features both a single player mode and a multiplayer mode for up to 4 players. Compared to the original, the visuals and the enemy AI have been upgraded.
