The fun is focused on exploring locations and solving logic puzzles connected to them. The game features pre-rendered backgrounds and three-dimensional character models.

The action takes place in several locations, including Liara’s Illium appartment, emporium attacked by terrorists and the enormous ship serving as the Broker's base of operations. In the expansion you are fighting the agents of Shadow Broker mostly on foot, but there is also a spectacular flying car chase sequence. After finishing the new storyline you can access Broker’s hideout, where you can look into dossiers of your team members, plan next missions, watch vids and get information about planets rich in resources.
