The gameplay of Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 focuses on spectacular battles, involving such characters as Goku, Piccolo or Cell. The game features a distinct team battle system, in which you fight using up to three warriors. You can switch from one to another or issue group orders. This gives the battles a tactical aspect. It is also worth noting that each of the sixteen playable characters has an unique fighting system and attacks, which can be further expanded by the transformation into a “superwarrior.” The game makes use of the Nintendo DS capabilities, such as the dual screen, and features 2D visuals, stylistically based on the original manga.
