A two-dimensional platform game developed by Mixed Bag, an independent duo responsible for the well-received Futuridium EP. The player assumes control over the titular research probe that is tasked with exploring an uncharted, hostile planet in search of a powerful energy source that emanates from its core. forma.8 sees us traverse a hostile world in a manner similar to other metroidvania titles. The probe is self-propelled and subjected to the basic rules of dynamics – the player often has to resort to pressure-sensitive movements in order to get through the natural obstacles or varied enemies, including bosses. Interestingly enough, we encounter various power-ups along the way, which often allow us to gain a temporary advantage over our pursuers. The game is characteristic for its refined graphics based on three-dimensional elements with hand-drawn environment.

A compilation of two games developed by an independent British studio, Puppy Games, now re-released on PlayStation consoles. The package contains Titan Attacks! and Revenge of the Titans – two titles previously released on PC in 2011 and 2012 respectively. The first game is a two-dimensional retro shooter, heavily inspired by the classic Space Invaders. We assume the role of a commander of the last tank on Earth, and our objective is to save the planet from invading hordes of aliens. Revenge of the Titans is a classic tower defense title – the player builds various defensive structures which are to repel continuous waves of attacking enemies. Both games return with a reworked interface, and are now running in 60 frames per second. As could be expected, the controls have been remapped to fit a console gamepad (or PS Vita buttons).

The second major story expansion for BioShock: Infinite. It follows the events of the first expansion. However, this time we play not as Booker DeWitt but Elisabeth, who was previously an independent character, herself. The heroine wakes up in unknown circumstances with a pistol aimed at her face. She makes a promise which saves her from death. According to this obligation, she is supposed to help a group of people led by Atlas in their return to the underwater city of Rapture. In contrast to BioShock: Infinite and the first expansion, it focuses mainly on stealth. An additional feature of the game is the 1998 game mode (reminiscent of Thief's release date), which requires the player to complete the entire game without killing anybody.

The action takes place in the future in which the eponymous caffeine is a valuable resource obtained in space with special mining ships. Aboard one of them, a young boy awakens and discovers that for some unknown reason the vessel is completely deserted. Exploring the dark interior of the ship, the protagonist learns new facts and clues that lead him to the solution of the mystery. As we progress, we discover subsequent story elements and find out what actually happened on the ship and how we came to be completely alone. The production emphasizes the atmosphere of danger, built suggestively by both the soundtrack and the graphics, powered by Unreal Engine.

We play as the titular Steven who, accompanied by his friends, has to stop a mysterious villain from destroying the world. Combat in Steven Universe: Save the Light is turn-based. Our party can be made up from up to four from the eight available characters that appeared in the cartoon. Each of the available heroes has their own unique abilities. Using them properly is important in achieving victory. The game's visuals are almost identical to the looks of the cartoon that inspired it.

Another installment of the popular strategy game series by Team 17 focusing on warring worms. The second story expansion for Dishonored, a stealth action game created by Arkane. It continues the story of the first expansion - The Knife of Dunwall. Again, we play as the assassin of the empress, Daud, who departs for the lair of a witch by the name of Delilah in order to prevent her from carrying out a ritual that would allow for his final condemnation. To face the antagonist, and the coven she is the leader of, Daud has to explore the unknown districts of Dunwall and ally himself with the local gangs - Dead Eels and Hatters. The Brigmore Witches does not bring any significant changes to the gameplay, during which the player makes use of the powers brought in by the first expansion - Void Gaze, Blink, and Summon Assassin. The players can transfer their characters from the first expansion, keeping their previously acquired skills and weapons.

Thirty years earlier the forces of evil were stopped by the grand alchemist who created a magic barrier impenetrable for the monsters. When the spell is starting to weaken, the player assumes the role of a young adventurer named Mithos who, together with a group of companions, is trying to find a way to save the civilization. Gameplay mechanics of Soul Saga are strongly inspired by such series like Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Suikoden and Persona. The game concentrates on exploring the world, developing characters and facing enemies in turn-based combat in which correct selection of attacks is the key to victory.

In Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra, the vile Sheltem, whom we pursued in two previous games, finally gets to the world of Terra where he initially reigned. The tireless Corak follows him and meets a completely new party of adventurers that hail from Sheltem’s homeland. The general gameplay premise remains the same, although the production offers a significantly revamped interface, mouse support, and the possibility of saving the game at any moment. The biggest novelty is the fact that we lead a party of premade adventurers in contrast to the title’s predecessors. The game features colorful and detailed VGA graphics that beat the previous installments of the series in terms of appearance as well as high-quality music, sound effects, and digitalized voice acting.
