A shooter from Arena FPS genre developed by the German studio Reakktor Media and inspired by FPP shooters from the 90s. The story of TOXIKK takes place in the 22nd century, when mega-corporations and cartels took over the Earth after a global energy crisis. Two of such companies play major role in the game: EXOCOM and DRAYOS, competing for EDEN – a recently discovered mineral that can remedy the energy problems of the world. Gameplay is reminiscent of a mix of Unreal Tournament and the Halo series, with two types of maps: Classic (fast-paced battles for 8 players) or Massive (more tactical skirmishes for 16 people). In dynamic battles, we can use 9 different guns which can be found on maps, each with two firing modes. Thanks to the purely aesthetic character of the customization system, the game is fair and highlights the individual skills of each player.

Sunset uses first-person perspective as we fulfill not only basic objectives, but also side activities that let us discover more of the plot. Building better or worse relationship with our boss is crucial – Ortega will react to our actions, leaving us letters or notes. Gameplay is complemented by simple, but climatic visuals created with Unity engine.

An expansion for the 2013’s grand strategy game, Europa Universalis IV. The developers introduced a number of additional tools that allow the players to manage their nation and influence its further development and fate. One of the most noteworthy elements is the possibility of increasing influence in the Merchant Republic by establishing trading posts and using the factions’ internal conflicts in the course of the new election events. The expansion also offers a new government system, republican dictatorship, and a new faction system that allows us to gain valuable bonuses. Moreover, the novelties include the ability to support heirs in elective monarchies and the new option of spending points on administrative, diplomatic, and military affairs. The add-on comes with a set of previously unavailable historical events that make for the action’s background.

A two-dimensional platformer game inspired by the classic, side-scroll representatives of the genre. It was created by Two Tribes – a Dutch developer popular mainly for the arcade-logic Toki Tori series. RIVE takes the player to an unspecified region of the galaxy, where they face an army of hostile robots, having taken control over a modern-day combat drone. Not only is the player-controlled drone able to move on surfaces, but it can also jump and fly, causing destruction within a radius of 360 degrees. What is more, the player can hack hostile machinery and affect its behaviour, which is done by collecting power-ups. In terms of the mechanics, the game follows the patterns established by classic platformers, though it offers up-to-date visuals – RIVE is filled with spectacular special effects. The gameplay itself is incredibly fast-paced here, offering an arcade experience without unnecessary boundaries.

It is relatively difficult to make progress in the game. An old-school two-dimensional platformer with elements of stealth. It was created by Hopoo Games, a studio known for Risk of Rain. In the game, the player becomes an embodiment of death itself, coming to Earth to stop an undead invasion. Both the sides of the conflict are a bit unusual, because the Grim Reaper uses knives and firearms instead of a scythe, and as for the undead, they are overly watchful and intelligent - they can even wield pistols and rifles. Deadbolt puts large emphasis on stealth-action gameplay. The protagonist usually dies from a single hit, which forces the players to stay hidden and attack by surprise. This does not mean the game lacks dynamism, because it features a cover system that allows for a fairly effective exchange of fire. Therefore, each of the levels in the game can be completed in multiple ways, depending on the player's preferences.

A space arcade game from the endless runner genre, developed by Kool2Play. At first sight, Hyperide resembles classic space shooters that were once popular in the arcades. We control a small space ship that keeps flying upwards through levels filled with enemies and dangers. However, the gameplay strays from other similar games with one important feature: our ship doesn’t have any weapons mounted, meaning that our only choice is to avoid collisions with incoming objects. Hyperide offers two different game modes. The first one revolves around completing certain objectives within the levels with clearly defined beginning and end. The other one is infinite mode, where threats are generated randomly, our space track never ends, and the game goes on indefinitely until our ship is destroyed.

An improved version of Godus – the spiritual successor of the Populous series which was a real-time strategy in which the player could assume the role of a god. The game was created by 22 Cans, a studio founded by Peter Molyneux, the creator of such series as Dungeon Keeper, Black & White and Fable. In Godus Wars player assumes the role of one of four playable gods who use their powers and abilities to secure welfare and safety of their followers. Each god offers unique powers and different play style. As a god, the player leads its tribe through various stages of development – he gathers resources, constructs buildings, solves problems, helps in fighting enemies and gathers new followers. It is possible to freely shape the land – tear down mountains, create hills or create water reservoirs. Godus Wars introduces new gameplay elements that focus mostly on war. The player can use a few dozen of combat units and various power cards which can give advantage over the opponent. Similarly as the original game, Godus Wars features simple, colorful graphics and light humor.
