An arcade racing game for {PLAT}. Our objective is to take part in a race and finish it, but the task is made difficult by the nature of courses and obstacles, which are constantly transforming. The background colors are constantly changing, and a different color may mean that, for example, a bridge was removed, or a new platform was spawned. The pace of the gameplay forces the players to stay alert if they want to reach the finish line as a winner. Our avatars can jump, climb, run, as well as harass other participants. Aside from the main course, Runbow also contains a few different modes, including Arena, where the players are pushing each other into the abyss, or ColourMaster, in which one person decides on the action that has to be repeated by other players. Even if the main strength of the game is the ability of multiplayer racing (up to 9 participants), the game offers a single player mode as well. Runbow employs simple, but nice 2D visuals, full of contrasting colors and sharp contours.

A sequel to the two-dimensional action game released in 2014. The new game was created by the authors of the previous game, the Inti Creates studio, mostly known for developing the Mega Man Zero miniseries. In Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 the player can experience the further adventures of Gunvolt and the characters known from the prequel, facing the corporation ruling the future world. The gameplay mechanics are similar as in the previous entry in the series, and the game focuses on traveling through levels and defeating numerous enemies. During the battles, the player can use both firearms and special powers of the protagonists. Battles against powerful bosses are most challenging because they also have many special abilities. The key to defeating them is finding a good tactic.

The game brings a continuation to a series of mobile products developed by ATGames. Puzzle Craft 2 is an original combination of an economic strategy and a match-3 logic game. The game is set in a medieval-like world filled with magic. The player takes on the role of the new leader of a small village in order to transform the place into a prosperous empire. The player takes care of typical, management-related tasks, such as gathering resources, catering for the inhabitants, constructing new buildings or conducting scientific research; one has to manage the finances as well. Obtaining materials is not automatic in this game however - this element is represented by a mini-games based on typical match-3 mechanics. Compared to the original game, the creators introduced a massive number of changes and improvements in Puzzle Craft 2. As a result, the game comes with larger maps, diversified economy, and different environmental circumstances describing particular towns and villages.

Another pay-to-play expansion pack for Hearthstone - an online card game developed by Blizzard and set in the world of the popular Warcraft series. The expansion focuses on the titular Blackrock Mountain, featured in the World of Warcraft MMORPG. The DLC is divided into five smaller chapters - so-called "wings". The player can buy them for real money or the in-game credits they have earned while playing. Each of the wings grants access to subsequent bosses and cards (17 bosses and 31 completely new cards in total) received for defeating subsequent enemies. Furthermore, the expansion comes with 9 new class challenges, associated with specific types of characters - achieving success is rewarded with previously unavailable class cards. After winning all the boss fights in a given chapter, the player unlocks a very difficult game mode named heroic. All the battles take place on a special map which made its first appearance in the core game.

Flick Golf 3D is a special edition of a popular mobile sports game developed for Nintendo 3DS. The game mechanics are almost identical to its mobile version, the only difference being the fact that now they can employ the console’s 3D capabilities. Rules of the game are a slightly simplified version of those from the actual golf matches. We have to use the console's touch screen to sink a perfect hole in one. We also have to take under consideration the wind speed and direction, and obstacles, such as water, sand, or trees. There are three game modes available: you can beat high scores across six courses in Quickshot mode, compete for trophies in World Tour mode, and try yourself in Quickshot Pro. Flick Golf 3D uses both screens of Nintendo 3DS. We can adjust the 3D depth during the game, which makes it easier for us to estimate the ball's position on the course and plan the perfect hit.

A web-based MOBA game for mobile devices (Android, iOS), utilizing a free-to-play model with microtransactions. Call of Champions was developed by the creators of Arcane Legends, Battle Command, Star Legend, and Arcane Battleground. The game differs from other productions of the genre, mostly because it focuses on quick, five-minutes-long battles. The general mechanics stay the same: two opposing teams have to get through the others' defenses and destroy the enemy's base. The duration of the battles, however, means that the mechanics are simplified. For example, Call of Champions doesn't feature AI opponents or item shops. On the other hand, from the beginning you have access to many characters and powerful abilities and there is no need to work long and hard to unlock them. The game features attractive, slightly cartoonish 3D visuals.

Every member of the guild has his individual statistics and abilities which are improved with every successful heist. However, the game uses a permadeath system, so the dead members don’t return to our manpower pool. The gameplay takes place in real time, with a team management module, based on a similar mechanic from the X-COM series, as well as base development and equipment management elements. The game is complemented by humorous, but incredibly cohesive and realistic 2D visuals.

Card Crawl is a mobile fantasy card game developed by Arnold Rauers from the German studio Tinytouchables. The game takes us to a fantasy land where we take part in a card game against a mighty Minotaur who is our croupier, shuffling and dealing our cards. Card Crawl is a single player-only game. While we play, we see two rows of four cards. We will find our character, two item slots (weapon, shield, healing potion, etc.), and an additional slot for a card which we would like to use later in the lower card row. The upper row is made of Minotaur's cards: monsters we have to fight with, items, and spells. Our goal is to scrape through all 52 of Minotaur's cards without losing all of our health points. If we win, we get gold which then we can spend on new cards between the matches.

The first expansion to the well-received turn-based strategy game Battle Academy 2: Eastern Front from Slitherine. The expansion pack recreates the eponymous Battle of Kursk, known as the greatest armored battle in world’s history. In the summer of 1943 the Nazi Germany made a desperate attempt at regaining the upper hand on the Eastern Front, throwing in almost all of their advanced combat vehicles. The Russians defending Kursk, however, predicted the enemy’s plan and kept shattering enemy squadrons one by one as they were approaching the city and managed to keep the Germans at bay. In the game you can pick one of the two sides of the conflict, either taking control of German tanks assaulting the city or the Soviet defenders trying to repel the offensive. Individual missions in both campaigns are tied to one another, which means that the loss you take in one battle carries over to the next one. Apart from these additional missions, Battle Academy 2: Battle of Kursk offers new units on both sides of the conflict.

Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is a follow-up to the 2012 platform game developed by Renegade Kids. The game is directed mostly to the players who finished the first installment of the series and works as a bridge to its upcoming sequel. We play as a regular kid named Max who has to save his planet from the invasion of the aliens known as the Mudd creatures. Max is equipped only with a water pistol and a special backpack that allows him to jump higher and farther. Gameplay in Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is inspired by the classic side-scrolling platformers like Mario Land and focuses on exploring the locations in order to find the exit and searching for hidden water sprites. We have to collect them if we want to defeat the invaders. As we play, we will face all kinds of traps and threats. One of the game's characteristic features is the possibility to move between its primary and secondary sets.

The characters share an identical set of skills, such as sliding under obstacles, launching one's body into a spin, or activating a speed boost - the last can be done only after an adequate number of jewels have been collected. Giana Sisters: Dream Runners offers decent, colorful visuals. The game can be played both in the local multiplayer and via the Internet.

A turn-based strategy game created by the indie developer Nine Tales Digital. The game combines the universes known from two games - Desert Ashes and Pocket God. The gameplay is divided into two segments. The first one allows you to overlook a map of the fantasy world and move your units on it. When you encounter an enemy you are moved to a battlefield where you lead your men to battle in which each of the sides uses their abilities alternately. Because each of the units has their unique abilities and statistics the key to success lies in choosing your heroes wisely. The tasks, that the developers of Pocket God vs. Desert Ashes give us, are based on both eliminating all enemies and capturing special strongholds. Each of the campaigns offers a different balance of power and a map – it should be mentioned that maps also change because of the day and night cycle. The game can be played in a single player mode as well as together with friends; you can also play campaign scenarios in co-op mode. In the multiplayer mode one player commands the defenders and the second one leads the invaders. The game has simple yet very original visuals.

The expansion introduces the titular Eternal Lords (Necromancers) with their unique abilities and two new races (Tigrans and Frostlings). There are also new locations, items and scenarios. As for the mechanics, the game introduces special random events and a system which enables the player’s kingdom to rate support it has among various races. Previously unavailable play-by-mail multiplayer mode was introduced as well.

Ys Chronicles 1 takes us to a magical fantasy world, which we traverse as a young swordsman Adol Christin. He will be the one to save country of Esteria from an invasion of demons, and he must find six holy tomes to defeat the evil. Gameplay employs classic schemes of the jRPG genre, as we observe the world from a camera located behind our character’s head and explore the world, talk with NPCs, develop our hero and fight enemies. This last element is kind of unique, as we fight by initiating collisions with hostiles through a simple movement system. The effectiveness of those attacks depends mainly on which side of a target we hit.

After finding a suitable location, you get to work and cook small amounts of narcotics for local addicts. As your business grows, you hire helpers and security, and produce more illegal substances, controlling larger parts of the market. With time, you also gain the attention of law enforcement. If you overcome all adversities, you will be able to retire. I you don't, you'll end up in jail, but it doesn't necessarily mean the game is over, as you can escape and start anew with what's left of your money.

Jurassic World: The Game is a strategy developed by Ludia and released prior to its cinematic inspiration. We take the role of the director of the titular amusement park. We will have to build new attractions, find new ways to make money (i.e. gift shop), and breed over fifty dinosaur species. Gameplay is also complemented with some RPG elements, like battles between the dinosaurs. We are not only breeding them, we are also training them so they can fight on special arenas where they face AI or dinosaurs trained by other players. Jurassic World: The Game even has some card game elements. Each dinosaur has its own card, and the owner of the species-diversified park has to create his or her unique deck. The game works with the Brawlasaurs toys from Hasbro. They can be scanned with the built-in camera and then unlocked in the game.

The production was inspired by the beliefs and traditions of the Huichol people, which is evident in the story and attractive visuals, full of psychedelic colors. You play as a young shaman, who tries to gain wisdom and experience. To achieve that, the protagonist embarks on a journey across the magical version of the Sierra Madre mountains. The gameplay focuses on exploring the memorable world and solving puzzles by connecting the elements of the surroundings — you do it by drawing straight lines between objects. Apart from that, the shaman also performs various rituals, which allow him to overcome obstacles. It's worth noting that on his way he may encounter not only threats, but also things and beings that help him on his journey.

An episodic noir adventure story developed by Prologue Games. The action takes place in Cypress Knee, a small town located in the swampy region of Southern Florida. The story begins with an alleged suicide of a washed-out Hollywood star whose corpse is found hanging from a tower at a local amusement park. However, some of the evidence contradicts the leading theory, while the case is investigated by three individuals: a private detective, a local journalist, and a popular blogger. The game allows the players to control each of the characters. When it comes to mechanics, Knee Deep is a typical point’n’click adventure game, but the authors have decided upon an interesting way of depicting the story – we are watching an interactive play: all events happen on one scene, while individual locations are created from mockups and scenery elements.

Although the game was developed for mobile devices, it is very realistic; for example, the road surface and weather affect your driving, and a damage system forces you to fix your car from time to time. Racing game beginners may use the rewind option, which allows you to turn back time and avoid bigger crashes. The game features high-quality 3D visuals, but no multiplayer mode.

We spend most of the time in a dungeon called the Labyrinth, where our task is to find an ancient treasure guarded by a powerful dragon. Concerning gameplay, Dragon Nest: Labyrinth is a classic hack'and'slash, in which we have at our disposal several heroes, representing four different classes. There is also a character development system based on runes and precious stones, as well as simple crafting system. During breaks in completing subsequent quests we deal with expanding our village, which provides additional activities, such as fishing, animal farming or gathering resources.

An MMO browser strategy game developed by Allodium. The players are taken to an alternative version of Europe consumed by a total war. The players are left with a faithfully-recreated map of Europe consisting of 15000 cities, assuming control of the individual settlements in order to rebuild them and take part in the conflict by creating alliances and engaging in military operations. The game mixes city-building elements with real-time strategy elements – we are tasked with resource gathering, recruiting military forces, all the while engaging in combat for influence and territory.

In Perception, we play as a blind girl named Cassie, who tries to discover the mystery of a certain mansion, whose visions has been haunting her in her dreams for some time. It turns out that the place is haunted by a ghost, which has been terrorizing the inhabitants of the house, and now it targets Cassie. We explore the dark mansions and look for clues to reveal the dark past of the building. Due to her affliction, our heroine is unable to use any weapons, being armed only with her intellect and excellent hearing that provides her with a limited echolocation ability. The visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 4, consist mainly of black and white outlines of rooms and items, recreating the girl's unique perception.

In the story campaign, you travel through various lands and dungeons in search of treasure, and encounters many enemies on his way. The gameplay of You Must Build a Boat focuses on the match-3 mechanism. You attack your enemies by combining three right icons; this way is also how you also use a shield, cast spells, avoid traps and open treasure chests. Like its predecessor, You Must Build a Boat features oldschool 2D visuals.

A racing game for mobile devices, developed by Aquiris Game Studio and inspired by the 16-bit classics of the genre such as the Lotus series, Outrun, and Top Gear. In Horizon Chase, the action is observed from a camera placed behind the car, and our task is to complete subsequent tracks as quickly as possible. We have several vehicles of various performance at our disposal. With them, we race on deserts, city outskirts, and motorways. The driving model is purely arcade, while the gameplay is very fast-paced. Visually, the developers combined the camera behavior and track design from classical two-dimensional racing games with fully three-dimensional objects in the form of angular, slightly textured models. The final result presents itself quite curiously — it blends modernity with clear references to the classics. The game features a soundtrack created by Barry Leitch who composed music for the several aforementioned productions.

It turns out that the leader of this almost idyllic place is the psychopathic Governor, whom you need to fight. The Walking Dead: Road to Survival focuses on the plot and often forces you to make difficult moral decisions, which can heavily influence the story. You also have to manage the survivors. You need to take care of their further survival, develop their abilities, and choose their equipment. During the missions taking place outside the town, the survivors fight zombies in turn-based combat. Apart from that, you have to gather resources and expand your base. You also can attack the towns of other players in a simple multiplayer mode.

In Does Not Commute you play as ordinary people driving around the city for various reasons and your task is to lead the cars from the starting points to their final destinations. You observe the gameplay from the point of view of a camera located above a fragment of the city, and the gampelay itself is not difficult, focusing on turning left or right so that you don't crash into your surroundings or other cars. However, the game remembers how you drove all the other cars and, as you embark on another journey, at the same time the cars you drove earlier start out too. After some time it results in the city being full of moving cars, which makes it harder to drive and not have a crash. Moreover, you also have to mind the time limit, as not completing the drive in time means that you have to start over.

To succeed, you have to find a powerful sorceress, who is the only person possessing powers that can stop the forces of evil once and for all. In every level you have to survive the attacking waves of enemies, although unlike in other tower defense games, you don't use static towers but characters, over which you have absolute control. The enemies move in set patterns, which allows you to plan your strategy in advance. In addition, like in role-playing games, each available character has their own fighting style, equipment, and abilities, which can be developed as the game progresses.

Space Battle Terror Frights takes players to the future, in which humanity possesses the technology allowing for interstellar journeys. In order to retrieve important data, the main protagonist is sent aboard one of the ships drifting through space. His mission is complicated by the fact that the vessel is overrun by alien creatures – the enemy is powerful and ruthless. In order to survive, one has to shut the air locks in order to decrease the possibility of an attack from certain directions. During the game, one can use the deadly weapons arsenal as well as sentry robots that can help in fighting the enemies, and a motion sensor that can detect the enemies and point at data storages. Upon gathering sufficient data, the player has to reach the reactor, activate the self-destruction mechanism, and evacuate the ship before it explodes. One has to remember that the game features a permadeath system – upon the death of the main protagonist, the player has to start over the game. Moreover, the internal structure of the ship are generated procedurally – this regards both the layout of the rooms and distribution of alien monsters.

While exploring it, he will have to finish fifty difficult levels filled with various traps and obstacles like chasms, trapdoors, or blades that slide up from the ground. He will also encounter hostile natives and aggressive creatures that will try to hunt him down. The game has a rather high difficulty level. In order to achieve success, we will have to rely on our reflexes, agility, and calmness. We will also have to master the controls. 50 Pinch Barrage!! has a rather simple, ascetic visuals that bring to mind games from the late 1980's.
