Action, Horror, Indie Games, Internet, Multiplayer, Survival Horror.
An atmospheric multiplayer-oriented survival horror game developed by an independent team at Section Studios. The action takes place at an old estate belonging to an industrial magnate who atrociously murdered his family and all the servants a hundred years earlier. Now, the house is being haunted by their ghosts trying to claim the lives of each and every visitor. A group of fearless friends decides to discover the secrets of the infamous estate and solve its dark mystery. The players are divided into teams. While the first group assumes the roles of daredevil friends, the second takes on the role of the ghosts hunting them. The gameplay resembles a game of hide-and-seek, because the players are not equipped with any weapons, and the only way they can achieve something is through interaction with the environment. The ghosts have to eliminate everyone who has entered the house, the undesired visitors, on the other hand, need to stay hidden or run for their lives if necessary.

Adventure, FPP, Indie Games, Action Adventure, Singleplayer, Surrealism.
A somewhat surrealistic FPP adventure game and a debut of Pixel Night studios, focusing on exploration and plot. The story of Empathy takes place in a collapsing world, where the few remaining cities were reduced to shelters for small human populations, and where life seems to be dying out. We explore the setting through the eyes of a child led by a mysterious spirit on their journey to return the order to this world. The protagonist will come across memories and feelings of the people of the past, which we must experience to solve puzzles and find the reason behind the calamity. What stands out the most in the game is its storytelling. We can play as any person whose memory we find, which lets us discover things we would miss otherwise. This creates a unique atmosphere, enhanced by suggestive visuals that were created with Unreal Engine 4.

Another installment of the farming simulation game series from GIANTS software. Contrary to most of the major entries in the franchise, Farming Simulator 16 was created solely with the PS Vita handheld console and mobile devices in mind. In the game, we traditionally assume the role of farm owner, and our task is to turn his possessions into a true agricultural empire. Achieving this requires us to sow and harvest, and then invest the money we’ve earned into the farm’s development as well as new vehicles and devices. The title features over 50 fully licensed agricultural machines of various type that we can personally drive while working in the field. Compared to its predecessor, the game offers new sorts of crops, but the biggest novelty is the introduction of forests, along with a pretty big set of hardware for felling and processing trees.

A mobile installment of the popular Worms series – strategic turn-based games in which heavily armed worms fight against each other. As usually, the title is developed by Team 17. Worms 4 is based on the well-known set of rules - there are two or more teams of worms and players who interchangeably control individual “soldiers.” The game comes down to dealing as much damage to enemies as possible in a given time frame. Worms make use of a wide arsenal of crazy weapons and gadgets, but while using them, you need to remember about the influence of gravity and wind. Moreover, almost every environment element is destructible. In comparison to previous installments, Worms 4 introduces a few changes. As it is a mobile production, the scale of battles is reduced, the teams are smaller, and the time limit reduced. The title features new kinds of weapons and some diverse game modes, including an extensive single player campaign. Naturally, multiplayer is the backbone of the game.

Six hundred years have passed since this dramatic event, and the civilizations have managed to partially recover; the players assume the role of heroes who start to gradually come to the land. Starting out in Order & Chaos 2: Redemption, we create our own character by choosing one of the different races and specializations. The title is characterized by high-quality three dimensional graphics that presents the action from the third-person perspective. The game is based on exploration, performing various quests and side missions, developing the protagonist, and fighting opponents. Battles are fought in real time. Apart from the standard PvE, the production features a PvP module that lets us fight other players.

An old-school point-and-click detective adventure game, and also a debut project of Swedish Clifftop Games studio. The game is set in mid 90s, where we play as the titular girl, whose main interest include rock music, motorcycles and playing detective. When she receives the sad message of her grandfather’s death, our protagonist decides to visit her hometown, Conwell Springs, for the first time in years. Once there, she quickly comes to the assumption that her grandfather’s death wasn’t natural, and starts her own investigation together with her friend Elleen, which will lead her to an unusual discovery. Gameplay focuses on typical detective activities: exploring locations, looking for clues, talking with people and solving puzzles. Developers wished for their game to stay true to genre’s standards from before 20 years, visible in graphics in 320x240 resolution and quite high difficulty level.

The game is a typical representative of the bullet hell shooter and focuses on exterminating waves of enemies, which always greatly outnumber you. The pace of the game is incredibly fast and to survive you need good reflexes. What helps is a wide range of weapons your ship is equipped with. There are three playable characters to choose from and one bonus character — Count Dracula himself. The foes, apart from the standard cannon fodder, also include nine challenging boss enemies. After completing the game, you can participate in a range of extra highly difficult challenges.

The action of Loot & Legends is set in a typical fantasy land and the gameplay boils down to exploring dungeons and fighting encountered monsters. The game is divided into modules, each having a completely different, self-encompassing story. Mechanics-wise, the production combines a turn-based strategy game with elements borrowed from CCGs and board games, while the gameplay rules were designed by Richard Garfield, the creator of the popular Magic: The Gathering collectible card game. Battles are fought in turns on maps covered with a grid. While fighting, we command a several-member party of adventurers and perform every action by playing cards drawn from the deck. The game is designed to resemble tabletop role-playing games which are played with the use of figurines and paper maps.

An unusual action RPG developed by French studio Enigami. The title takes place on planet Mahera which is inhabited by members of various species that live in symbiosis. Due to a civil war that took place years ago, the land was shattered into pieces and the survivors found refuge on islands floating in the space. The main protagonist of the game is Chado who together with his friend Poky crashed in a place called Adorn. The protagonists are quickly caught in a bigger intrigue that will determine the fate of the whole world. The gameplay of Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom is based on three pillars: exploration of various locations, fights with enemies and completing main and side quests. What’s interesting, the objectives can be completed in any way the player wants. For example, instead of using brute force, one can sneak past the opponents. The battles take place in real time – player participates in one on one duels while the companions are supporting their friends with ranged attacks. The game also contains a character development system which allows for using new combat techniques, spells and collecting better equipment. Unreal Engine 4 provides high-quality graphics.

As the city is filled with other, competing gangs, the metropolis becomes an arena of relentless struggle for power and position in criminal structures. When it comes to mechanics, Crows: Burning Edge is somewhat similar to the Yakuza series, marrying action elements with an adventure game plot. The main focus was placed on spectacular combat sequences, which earn us respect and build our prestige in the school society.

The player takes on the role of a police officer and their goal is to point to the person who committed the crime, based on inconclusive testimony. What makes the job difficult however, is that the protagonist has a limited amount of time to make their decision, and each day they have to deal with another case, as well as the witnesses that make the player's goal harder to achieve, due to lying when describing the characteristics of the perpetrator. Each criminal's appearance is randomly generated, thus thousands of combinations can occur, which substantially extends the overall play-time offered by the game. Fingered comes with decent, cartoonish visuals.

We can take part in three conflicts: Italian Wars, Thirty Years’ War, or the English Civil War. In all, we are given 10 historical battles, in which we control forces the size of a battalion and larger. Each battlefield was recreated using historical sources, while the available units correspond to real banners from that era. The key to success is to employ adequate tactics for each encounter, while the decisions made by the players have an utmost influence over the whole continent. The game offers five difficulty levels and a PBEM multiplayer mode. The visual side was based on the authentic battle scenes from the era.

Furthermore, the player needs to pay a lot of attention to the in-game economy - obtaining resources allows us to both construct new buildings and produce units (as well as to provide them with adequate technological support). Motörhead: Through the Ages is an official expansion to the 2015 hack'n'slash Victor Vran developed by Haemimont Games. The expansion was inspired by Motörhead, a Brittish band formed in 1975, one of the giants of hard rock and heavy metal. Through the Ages departs from the main game dark fantasy stylistics and introduces a world inspired by Motörhead's lyrics and album covers. The plot focuses on stopping the dark Queen of the Damned, but we will also have to face some more 'modern' enemies, like religious fanatics, corrupt politicians, and power-hungry dictators. The game skillfully mixes elements of dark medieval, wild west, and science fiction and its OST is composed of Motörhead's awesome music.

Action, 2D, Indie Games, Free-to-play.
A free production from an independent Belgian developer, Thomas Kole, who decided to combine two of his favorite games: the famous shooter Half-Life 2 and the psychedelic shooter Hotline Miami. In the resulting title, Half-Life Miami, we assume the role of a physicist, Gordon Freeman, and are taken to the locations known from the legendary production by Valve where we decimate enemies with the iconic Gravity Gun. The gameplay itself is similar to Hotline Miami in style, though, and the events are observed from a top-down camera. Another highlight of the game is the level editor made available by Kole, which lets us create our own locations. The title also features an interesting soundtrack composed by SUNG.

Developed by Bigmoon Entertainment, Trapped Dead: Lockdown is an action RPG with a top-down perspective and is a continuation of the 2010 tactical RTS - Trapped Dead. The game takes the players to a small American town overrun by hordes of the living dead. The player assumes the role of one of the five available characters tasked with getting into the city before it is locked down by the army. Upon reaching the town, one literally has to hack his way through all the zombies that cross his path. Unlike its predecessor, Trapped Dead: Lockdown puts a strong emphasis on the hack’n’slash elements and builds mainly on the action that occasionally features some RPG mechanics. Each character exhibits unique flaws, assets, abilities and a dedicated development tree. During the game, one can use three types of weapons depending on the type of encountered enemies, who differ in terms of the fighting techniques and preferred strategies.

Simulation, Singleplayer.
A simulator game, in which the player assumes the role of an owner of a company that mines gravel and iron. The objective of the game is to transform a small business into a powerful company that generates great profits. Contrary to most other simulators, here the player doesn’t participate directly in the mining process. Instead, they focus entirely on the business layer of the company, deciding about money management, overseeing the production process and participating in marketing/PR activities. All information is presented with advanced tables, reports and statistical data. In general the game focuses on completing various contracts – small ones at first, and after we hit it big, also more serious ones, frequently divided into a few phases.
