A third-person fantasy action RPG designed to utilize virtual reality headsets. It was developed by Gunfire Games, a studio established by former employees of Vigil Games, the creators of the Darksiders series. In Chronos, we assume the role of a hero whose task is to free his homeland from a dragon that terrorizes it. The beast lives in a labyrinth full of traps and enemies. The main problem is the fact that the labyrinth opens only once a year, so if we fail to reach its end in time, we will have to wait another 12 months. What’s interesting, with progress, the protagonist becomes more powerful but also grows older - it may happen that at the end of our journey, we will control an old man who prefers to use magic rather than a sword. The gameplay itself combines elements of an adventure game with a classic action RPG and emphasizes exploration, combat, and the original character development system.

A Japanese fantasy RPG based on the popular – especially in Japan – SaGa series, previously known as Final Fantasy Legend. The game has been developed by FuRyu supported by former Square Enix employees, who have been working on the original series. In the game, the player assumes the role of one of the seven heroes, who want to uncover the mysteries of the island of Avalon. The player is aided in this task by two companions selected from a group of NPCs. The Legend of Legacy delivers a nonlinear plot, which almost entirely depends on the player’s actions and decisions. The gameplay revolves around the exploration of the island, completing quests, i.a. in the city of Initium (which serves also as the main base and place of trade), and waging turn-based battles. In combat, the player can summon ghosts to the battlefield, from which he gains additional abilities. All the characters’ skills can be improved the same way as in the SaGa series - by using the already unlocked abilities. The player is bound to appreciate the game’s visuals, which combine 3D models with hand-drawn world textures.

Instead, you play a futuristic football variation designed for two teams of three. The players control robots which shoot at a giant ball and by doing so, try to put it in the back of the opponent’s net. The thing is, you can be gunned down by the enemy, and the more damage the ball suffers, the smaller it gets, which significantly impedes controlling it towards the end of a match. Gameplay requires strict cooperation between the players, sometimes even sacrifice. The title features pleasant 3D graphics.

In such case, we control each of the three characters interchangeably. The game depicts a post-apocalyptic vision of the Earth where our planet has been plunged into darkness by an ancient evil that attacked without a warning, decimating human population. The title features a classic top-down perspective, and the core gameplay focuses on exploration of procedurally generated locations and fighting monsters inspired by the novels of H. P. Lovecraft. Much emphasis was put on the survival elements, requiring you to keep an eye on your character’s life functions, and collect useful items and weapons. What really makes Noct unique is the way it presents the world - since the game’s world is pitch black, the only way to see is the visualization provided by a thermal imaging satellite system.

A relaxing adventure game for mobile devices, created by Activision, based on a license of the popular British TV series Downton Abbey. The game takes place in the titular mansion, owned by an ancient and rich family. One day, the nobility, as well as the servants visit a nearby village to take part in a local ceremony. Somebody has robbed the mansion during their absence, with all the rooms missing various valuables. The players assume the role of a private detective hired by the family, whose task is to find the thief and find out his motives. Downton Abbey: Mysteries of the Manor is a classic example of a casual HOPA game. During the game, we explore the mansion, talk with the inhabitants, amass clues and evidence, solve various logical puzzles and take care of new challenges, which mainly focus around the search for missing items.

A 2D shooter game played from the top-down view. The game was inspired by action films from the 1980s and the plot here constitutes a loose mixture of different movie premises and various things that happened to the protagonist, delivering a parodistic vision of the era. The protagonist is accompanied by five other characters that help him ridicule popular action film tropes and characters. The player explores subsequent locations and eliminates hordes of different enemies with many different weapons; also, the game features powerful bosses. Particular levels are generated procedurally and are set in one of several fully destructible environments, such as sandy beaches, a jungle in Central America, gloomy graveyards or a futuristic city. Although Tango Fiesta can be played solo, the game emphasizes the co-op experience for up to 4 players. The old-school graphics bring the arcade classics from the 1980s to mind, just as the creators as desired, save for the ever-present pixels. Nonetheless, both the in-game locations and character models are very simple.
