An action adventure game, in which you play as a wolf with supernatural abilities and explore the remains of an ancient civilization. Lost Ember takes place within the ruins of a metropolis left by a fictional tribe, modeled after the Inca people. The civilization has gone extinct long ago, and the monuments it had built had become part of the wild forest. The wolf, whose role the player assumes, has the power to control the bodies of other animals. Using this ability, you have to travel across the game’s world and gradually discover the truth behind the collapse of the city of Machu Kila. Most of the time you explore different environments, occasionally running into a challenge that tests your agility or dexterity. Although the wolf is fit to deal with many obstacles, it is often necessary to incarnate other animals to press on. They all have unique abilities: a bird can fly, a fish swims, and a mole digs underground tunnels – all those are needed in specific moments of the game. In terms of graphics, Lost Ember uses vivid colors and slightly cartoonish art style.

Fighting, Internet, Co-op, Multiplayer, Splitscreen, Singleplayer.
A 3D fighting game in the vein of Power Stone that is a debut project of the French studio Piranaking. Lastfight is based on a popular comic LASTMAN. In contrast to classic beat‘em ups in which the characters move on two-dimensional stages, Lastfight introduces small 3D arenas. This way, the player can try to get their opponent from behind, or use the elements of the environment – for example, hitting an enemy with an armchair. The combat system is clearly arcade and requires some manual skills to master the combo sequences. In all, the players can choose from a set of ten fighters. Lastfight offers three main gameplay modes: story campaign, and one-on-one or two-on-two duels. Aside from that, a few extra modes have been prepared, including Free for All, where everybody clashes with everybody, Endless, in which the objective is survival with only one health bar, and Pinball, consisting of throwing balls at our enemy. Lastfight employs a lowbrow, comic book-like visual style.

The game starts in an unusual way — it begins with the final boss fight. The protagonist, however, can remember neither happened on the way to the dark lord's dwelling nor how to defeat the enemy. Conversations with his companions and the dark lord's taunts revive his memories in the form of flashbacks, during which you explore varied environments, talk to NPCs, and complete main story quests as well as side quests. Arcade, 2D, Crowdfunding, Platformers, Singleplayer.
The debut of a French developer known as Too Kind. The game is a two-dimensional platformer and was funded on Kickstarter. The plot in Pankapu was divided into two branches. On one hand, the game tells a story of the brave warrior Pankapu - as told by a father reading this story to his child, Jaha'rell. The actual gameplay is rooted in that story, for the player assumes the role of said warrior, who was created by the god of dreams in order to eradicate the nightmares invading this world. On the other hand, the player gets acquainted with a dark story of Jaha'rell, though in this case, the player does not have any direct influence on the course of events. In terms of the mechanics, the game is a classic action-platformer, requiring the player to explore subsequent locations, avoid various traps and fight nightmares. The protagonist's main weapon is a sword, but Pankapu can also transform, gaining access to unique attacks.

Action, Horror, Action Adventure, Singleplayer, Survival Horror, TPP.
A third-person perspective survival horror inspired by console productions of this genre. The action of From Beneath takes place in a town called Cedar Heights, which mysteriously turns into a living hell. The campaign tells a story of seven independent characters who have to fight for their survival. Mechanically, From Beneath is an action-adventure game with the camera hanging behind the character’s back. Each hero is different, but none of them was born a warrior. Therefore, battles pose a significant challenge and each bullet is precious. Usually, it is best to simply sneak behind enemies’ backs, stay in the shadows, and distract opponents in numerous ways. Gameplay is complemented by logic puzzles. The narration depends on the hero you are in control of – the title does not allow switching between the characters. From Beneath offers large locations, decent 3D visuals, and a professional voiceover.

Puzzle, Adventure Elements, Match-3, Science Fiction, Animated TV Series, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.
A puzzle adventure game released on mobile devices, based on the license of a popular animated series aired on Fox. The game's story focuses on the rivalry between the Planet Express courier company with its longtime competitor, MomCorp, leading to Fry and his companions being forced to embark on a journey through different regions of the universe. Futurama: Game of Drones employs slightly modified mechanics of the popular casual match-3 (or, in this case, match-4) genre, and the player's task is to combine four drones working for the Planet Express in order to put the competing courier company in line. Although we are dealing here with a typical logic game, the developers of the title took care to include a well-developed narrative layer, created in cooperation with, among others, the screenwriter and producer of the original series, Patric Verrone, and Dave Grossman, the co-creator of the Monkey Island series and the iconic adventure game Day of the Tentacle.

We play as a monster that rolls balls of snow and sets them in the right order. Each snowman is made of three snowballs. The biggest one forms its base, the medium one works as its torso, and the smallest one is its head. Our task is not as easy as it may seem. There are many obstacles in our snowballs’ way. We have to maneuver them to avoid those obstacles, collect as much snow as possible to make our snowballs bigger, and put them in the right order. It has to be mentioned that we do not always build our snowmen from scratch. From time to time we will have to fix the already existing ones. The game has simple yet charming visuals.

An old-school two-dimensional platformer with elements of stealth. It was created by Hopoo Games, a studio known for Risk of Rain. In the game, the player becomes an embodiment of death itself, coming to Earth to stop an undead invasion. Both the sides of the conflict are a bit unusual, because the Grim Reaper uses knives and firearms instead of a scythe, and as for the undead, they are overly watchful and intelligent - they can even wield pistols and rifles. Deadbolt puts large emphasis on stealth-action gameplay. The protagonist usually dies from a single hit, which forces the players to stay hidden and attack by surprise. This does not mean the game lacks dynamism, because it features a cover system that allows for a fairly effective exchange of fire. Therefore, each of the levels in the game can be completed in multiple ways, depending on the player's preferences.

The game is set in the world known from the previous installments and the player fights servants of a crazy scientist known as Dr. Catastrophe during an extensive story-based campaign. The mechanics combine elements of classic real-time strategy games with some aspects of casual titles for mobile devices, such as Clash of Clans. On one hand, the player is involved in managing their base, gathering resources, constructing new buildings and conducting research on technological improvements. On the other hand, the player trains an army, taking part in subsequent skirmishes against the enemies. During the battles, the player gives orders concerning movement and attack-related options freely, making the game resemble classic real-time strategies in this aspect. The enemy does not remain passive, for they try applying different tactics to make it more difficult for the player to achieve victory.

The second expansion to the popular farming simulator developed by GIANTS Software in 2014. The expansion does not bring any ground-breaking changes to the game’s mechanics and focuses on new, unavailable before types of seeding machines, tractors, front loaders etc. Altogether there are more than 50 different machines produced by companies like ITRunner, JCB, NEW Holland, and Holmer along with classic machines and farming equipment. Farming Simulator 2015: Official Expansion 2 also includes a detailed manual, called Farming Simulator Modding for Dummies, which describes ways to create your own content.

The game is a continuation to a challenging, though not very complex logic title developed by the independent studio 2SD. The player's goal is to lead an adequate amount of liquid to a test-tube, which is usually located in a place difficult to access. Platforms and walls the player draws are often insufficient to pour the liquid into the tube. In order to effectively complete this apparently simple task, the player needs to take advantage of interactive objects located on the map, such as spinning circles, gusts of wind or portals. At first glance, they seem to be no more than obstacles, but using them with creativity makes it easier for the player to achieve their goal. Over the course of 27 maps, the player will encounter other mechanics as well - for instance, liquids with different colors have to be mixed - such conditions diversify the experience and make it more challenging. The gameplay is complemented by a well-designed level editor.

A spin off to the popular Plants vs. Zombies series in a form of a mobile card game with tower defense elements. The production introduces themes inspired by superhero stories. Apart from the wide range of regular units known from the previous parts, the title introduces hero units that can be found on both sides of the conflict. Gameplay focuses on fights in which the players use personally-built decks of cards representing characters and their special skills. Combat takes place on levels divided into several vertical lanes, in a manner resembling a tower defense game. During the game, players activate cards in turns, summoning units, putting them on lanes, or making them use their superpowers. Plants vs. Zombies Heroes concentrates on multiplayer, although the game offers a single player campaign as well.

The fourth installment in the series of mobile survival horrors developed by AGaming+ studio. All entries in the series are connected by the eponymous mental institution. Mental Hospital IV continues the story presented in the previous game, but knowledge of the events that occurred there isn’t required. In the game the player once again assumes the role of the journalist known from Mental Hospital III who is trying to solve the riddle of the mysterious events that took place in the Saint Peter’s hospital. He goes to an equally dark place, the Saint Maria’s Orphanage, where he intends to meet with an anonymous informant. The gameplay mechanics haven’t changed greatly in comparison to previous installment of the series. The player is tasked with exploring locations and avoiding contact with enemies. The protagonist is not able to fight the enemies, when he is noticed by them he can only escape. In comparison to previous installments in the series, adventure aspects of the game were greatly improved and enriched with simple puzzles.

Another official DLC to the popular card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft developed by studio Blizzard. The plot of the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion focuses on the eponymous creatures that awakened after sleeping for thousands of years. It adds the characters of Yogg-Saron, Y’Shaarj, N’Zoth and C’Thun to the game. In addition to these very powerful characters, in the set there are also support cards with cultists who boost statistics of the aforementioned heroes. An update that changes the main game is also a vital part of the expansion – it divides the previous game model into two formats: the Standard and Wild. The latter is the classic game mode and the former limits the possibility of creating cards only to the ones that were released in the current or previous years. The classic and basic cards remain with no limits.

A sandbox survival simulator with adventure and horror features from Thai studio Phoenix. It is an extended version of a 2013 amateur project built on CryEngine. We play as an anonymous character, who wakes up on endless desert. Naturally, his only goal is to survive and escape from the hellish place, which requires solving many puzzles, exploring the game’s world and developing our character, who learns new, useful skills. This is complemented by fights with various creatures, starting from small and rather typical inhabitants of desert and ending at huge beasts that tower over our protagonist.
