Age of Mythology: Retold - Heavenly Spear is the second major expansion to the strategy game titled Age of Mythology: Retold, released in 2024. The DLC was developed by the creators of the base game, namely the World’s Edge and Forgotten Empires teams, as well as Tantalus Media, CaptureAge and Virtuos Games studios.

Campaign

The heart of the expansion is a new campaign about a farmer's daughter named Yasuko. The protagonist comes into possession of a magical spear, which transports her to a world of beasts and monsters. Kagemasa, a chieftain who is plotting to imprison the sun goddess Amaterasu, is also following the trail of that artifact, hoping that in this way he will become a deity himself.
