Age of Mythology: Retold

Age of Mythology Retold is a new revamped version of the RTS originally released in 2022. It was developed by World's Edge, known for, among other things, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. It was published by Xbox Game Studios.

Mechanics

In terms of gameplay, Age of Mythology Retold doesn't stray from the original. The game is a classic real-time strategy, revolving around erecting new buildings, researching new technologies, training troops and waging wars. The player must also take care of their land's economy.

The setting is an alternate version of classical antiquity. In the game's world, deities and mythical characters really exist. They can manifest on the Earth and become part of our armies. As for the playable nations, there are four civilizations available - Greeks, Egyptians, Norse and the inhabitants of Atlantis.
