Blightstone

Unfinished Pixel, an independent studio previously known for sports and arcade games such as Super Volley Blast and Spy Chameleon, has taken a step into strategy and RPG. The turn-based Blightstone utilizes roguelike solutions , offering challenging gameplay that is often started from scratch .

Gameplay

The managed team consists of three to four representatives of different classes, and is accompanied by a crystal with its own arsenal of skills.Blightstone 's quintessential gameplay is bloody turn-based battles fought on gridless game boards that allow for freedom of character movement.

The environment as a weapon

A key role in tactical clashes is played not only by positioning, formation or range, but also by terrain and weather conditions. In order to avoid area attacks, you can disperse the commanded group, and use rocks or tall grass for cover (unless someone sets it on fire). Spills, streams and rain serve as catalysts for lightning, allowing you to inflict chain damage, while fog can hide the enemy interface and make it difficult to assess the threat from pits and dense sand. Strong wind, on the other hand, reduces accuracy in ranged combat.
