A match-3 logic puzzle game and an adaptation of a board game of the same name. The production was developed by Clangore. The game takes place in the Horribilorum Sorcery Academy, and your task is to brew increasingly complicated potions. To succeed, you have to follow the instructions and choose the right ingredients. When you clear one of them, just like in any other match-3 game, the ones above them fall down, often diametrically changing the whole board. If two components of the same kind touch, they explode. Another obstacle is the limited capacity of the ingredients container. Potion Explosion features a single player mode, in which you play against the AI, and a multiplayer mode, in which you compete with other players. There is also an online ranking to display you accomplishments.

The story once again focuses on Stella the witch, whose task is to defend a magical world from the evil cat called Wilbur. The antagonist kidnaps the Fairy Queen and imprisons good ghosts and friendly owls. The gameplay in Bubble Witch 3 Saga still focuses on shooting colorful bubbles at the ones hanging in the upper part of the board. You have to match bubbles of the same color together — by matching at least three of them, you gain points and bonuses. In the story campaign, your task is to defeat the magical barrier created by Wilbur. Other game modes include the multiplayer mode and the collecting mode, in which you play until you clear the whole board. There is also an option to expand the witch's house, full of various gadgets. The game features pleasant cartoonish 2D visuals.

The gameplay is based on the characteristic solutions of the genre – on two-dimensional boards covered with square fields where various symbols appear at random. The player’s task is to create chains of at least three elements of the same type – the more made at the same time, the bigger the reward. Compared to other games of the genre, Star Wars: Puzzle Droids distinguishes itself with its extensive scenario – we can experience the story told in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, although the plot – contrary to the movie original – is presented from the perspective of the BB-8 droid. Moreover, the title is more varied than typical match-3 productions. While playing, we unlock various missions and fight enemies. Also, we have a number of special powers at our disposal, which let us deal with increasingly difficult challenges. As we progress, we gain access to the droid’s memories which present interesting scenes from its life.

Candy Crush Jelly Saga is based on the popular match-3 mechanics and, similarly to previous installments of the series, features no storyline, focusing entirely on gameplay. The objective of the game is to conquer more than a hundred available levels by creating sets of at least three candies of the same type out of many more shown on the screen. In contrast to most other match-3 games, the levels aren’t randomly generated – instead, each of them is a carefully-planned logical challenge with candies placed in specific places and featuring unique map shapes. The gameplay is more varied thanks to the boss fights, during which the player must complete additional objectives. The game provides also means for competition between friends through internet rankings.

Another installment in the popular casual series created by King.com. It is a direct sequel to Farm Heroes Saga that was released in 2013. This time the player is tasked with stopping the evil Rancid who obtained the supercropsies and uses them to achieve his villainous goals. The story of the game is just an excuse for the actual gameplay which in Farm Heroes Super Saga is based on the rules of the match-3 genre. It is a light logic game in which the gameplay focuses on moving colorful vegetables and fruits in order to combine them into vertical and horizontal lines consisting of at least three similar pieces. This removes them from the map and gives points to the player. It also allows for completion of various side missions. From time to time the player will face a challenging boss as well. Various power-ups make the game more interesting. They make it easier to complete levels and obtain more and more points.

We will explore the game's world and fight with the encountered enemies. During combat, we will have to arrange three or more identical icons into vertical and horizontal lines to deal damage. We can ally ourselves with some of the defeated foes so that they can aid us in forthcoming battles. Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition features eye-pleasing visuals stylized after other Super Mario Bros. games.

The player is tasked with moving (vertically or horizontally) the candies on the map in such way so that they combine into groups of at least three identical ones. Candies combined in such way disappear and the player receives points. Each level features specific objectives to meet, such as obtaining specified high score or combining a predetermined number of specific candies. The game is more interesting thanks to various bonuses such as explosives which can be detonated after matching a larger number of candies in one go. These explosions can clear large parts of the level at once. The game features colorful, “cartoonish” graphics and it employs a typical free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions.

A turn-based strategy game set in a steampunk world and inspired by both the mechanics of the Puzzle Quest series and the works of such writers as Herbert Wells or Jules Verne. Ironcast is set in an alternative version of the Victorian England, and the country has been at war with France for a decade. When the French are beginning to gain the upper hand in the conflict, a private association is founded in order to produce cutting-edge combat mechs. The player battles subsequent skirmishes that utilize the mechanics once introduced in the so-called "match-3" logic games. During each turn, the player can match objects on the map up to three times, erasing elements which symbolize money, ammo, energy, repairs, or the mech's cooling system. Afterwards, those are used to reinforce the player's combat machines, as well as to activate different special abilities. The in-game campaigns are randomly generated, and each time, the player's goals are to stop the forces of the French, and defeat their boss in a final fight.

The protagonist of Nibblers is a fish named Coral who sets out for a fruit hunt with its sea friends. Their task is made difficult by omnipresent lizards and harmful traps. Mechanics-wise, it is a clone of the popular Candy Crush Saga, while the gameplay boils down to moving elements that can be found in subsequent levels and combining them into groups that number three or more identical objects. Moreover, on every stage, not only do we have to score a given amount of points but also fight with the aforementioned lizards as well as complete various extra challenges. Completing these goals is slightly complicated because of limited movement. Luckily, our sea friends, who play the role of power-ups, are there to help us.

A unique mix of an RPG and a match-3 logic game characteristic for its contents, periodically released in the form of episodes. Ticket to Earth takes place in a distant future in one of the space colonies established by humanity. An unexpected catastrophe forces the inhabitants to evacuate back to Earth. Unfortunately, the only means of evacuation is a single starliner that can hold only a small portion of the citizens. A riot breaks out, while the colony itself is under attack from peacekeeping robots, bandits, and aggressive mutants. The player assumes control of a group of four heroes that attempt to discover the truth behind the unexpected downfall of the colony. The action of the game is seen from an isometric perspective. The campaign is divided into missions that see us take part in turn-based encounters on a board covered by a square grid with tiles marked with different symbols. Stepping on a field bolsters the attached ability. As a result, the key to success lies in crossing as many fields as possible with one move, which is rewarded with useful bonuses. Aside from the above, the authors have introduced an extensive skill tree of a hundred abilities divided between four schools. The game is characteristic for its colorful visuals and animated cut-scenes.

Stellar: Galaxy Commander is a space battle strategy game by King, utilizing a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The gameplay consists of turn-based fights against an opposing space armada. The screen shows two boards covered by a square grid; each board belongs to one of the sides of the conflict. Units randomly appear on the boards, and your task in to manipulate them in such a way so that you create lines of at least three identical units, like in a match-3 game. It allows the ships to merge into a more powerful one, and its type depends on the units that were used in the combination. The battle is won by the player who manages to destroy the opponent's main unit, stationed in the back. The game focuses on multiplayer PvP battles, but also allows you to play against the AI. You can also gather heroes with unique abilities to help you.

A simple puzzle action game that represents the ‘match-3’ subgenre. It is a mobile spin-off of the jRPG series Yo-Kai Watch known from 3DS consoles. The game, developed for mobile platforms, has different mechanics than the original series. It offers simple, casual gameplay that focuses on moving sets of the title creatures in such way so that at least three yokai of same type are in one row. Success in doing that allows performing attacks during duels with enemies on which the whole game is focused. During the game yokai are constantly fighting in a round container and the player has no time to carefully plan his moves as a good reflex is required for the success. Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble offers story campaign in which the world is divided into few zones. Reaching each of them requires defeating creatures guarding the entrance. During the game new yokais are gradually unlocked and the abilities of already obtained ones improves.
