A third-person soulslike action RPG and a sequel to 2023's Lords of the Fallen. Like the previous game, Lords of the Fallen 2 was developed by Hexworks studio and published by CI Games. The story in the sequel takes place a hundred years after the events from the previous game, however knowing its plot is not required.
Lords of the Fallen 2 is a sequel of the 2023 game titled Lords of the Fallen - a third-person action soulslike RPG. It was developed by Hexworks studio, and released by the Polish company CI Games, which is the owner of that developer. In the early stage of production, this project was known under the code name Project 3, and later it was referred to as Death of the Fallen.
Even though the action of Lords of the Fallen 2 takes place a hundred years after the events of its predecessor, we are dealing with a standalone sequel. This means that the game was developed in such a way that familiarity with the previous title under this brand is not necessary to understand its plot.
During the game we take on the role of a character who travels between two parallel fantasy worlds. Among them, Umbral, the realm of the dead known from Lords of the Fallen, takes the lead. The salt of the game are battles with opponents. Both "ordinary" opponents and powerful bosses stand in our way. We eliminate them using one or two-handed weapons, ranged weapons, and magic. Combat is not only dynamic, but also brutal, and the duels are crowned with bloody executions.
Lords of the Fallen 2 allows for single-player gameplay or cooperative play over the Internet. Additionally, there is an optional PvP mode. We can also activate custom gameplay modifiers.
Lords of the Fallen II is powered by Unreal Engine 5. Following the example of its predecessor, the game was maintained in the dark fantasy style.

All indications are that Lords of the Fallen 2 is already being developed. Its code name is Project 3, and CI Games wants to develop the brand heavily.
