Gilded Destiny

We can directly issue orders to our units or allow AI to take control. We face the challenges of war on many fronts, from logistics to treating wounded veterans. In managing the country, we are assisted by recruited specialists, such as politicians or inventors, and each of them provides bonuses and "penalties".

We focus on production and exchange of goods for economic development, creating necessary supply chains. A detailed economic system tracks global commodity stocks, thereby simulating international trade. Gilded Destiny also offers various options for taxation, tariffs, and subsidies.

We oversee mechanisms related to social issues. It is possible to enact a new law regarding immigration or to carry out electoral reform. Religion, culture, ideologies, and social changes related to professions and literacy also influence the gameplay along with our decisions.

Editor

Gilded Destiny was created with player mods in mind. It includes a substantial editor, allowing to create any content without programming knowledge, from simple event chains to complete world conversions.

Graphics

The visuals of Gilded Destiny do not deviate too much from the style of similar productions by Paradox Interactive, combining two-dimensional minimalism with simple 3D graphics when the camera is zoomed in.
