Strategy 19 May 2015

A continuation of Pacific Fleet, a well-received simulation/strategy game developed by Killerfish Games. This time, we take part in the Battle of the Atlantic, choosing between German Kriegsmarine or Great Britain’s Royal Navy. The action is seen from the third-person perspective, while the battles are divided into movement and attack phases. The players are given more than 60 ships, as well as numerous air units.

Game inspired by the famous Peggle from PopCap studio. The game consists in shooting pears at other fruits, thanks to which we score points. The title is available for free, but it uses a micropayment system.

RPG 04 December 2014

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation is a remake of the popular 1988 jRPG game. Production offers a powerful world, mostly open-structure, turn-based combat system and an extensive system of classes. Compared to the 8-bit prototype, graphics have been improved and the gameplay has been enriched with several new elements.

A casual HOPA game developed by Organic 2 Digital Studio. Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova takes us to 18th century Europe, fifty years after a terrible plague decimated Habsburg lands. A small city, Kisilova, observes a series of mysterious deaths, which seem to foreshadow the return of the plague. In order to prevent a widespread panic from ensuing, the Prince of Wittemberg sends a pair of investigators to the town, who are tasked with discovering the truth.

A mobile adventure game developed by French studio Mi-Clos. The story of Out There: Chronicles is related to the exploration strategy game Out There. The title is not a direct sequel but a rather spin-off. Once again the player travels to the distant galaxy inhabited by various alien species. The main protagonist is a lone human astronaut. Out There: Chronicles expands the player's knowledge player about the universe by, for example, explaining who created the so-called Arcs.

A mobile MOBA developed by an in-house developer studio of Tencent Games. Strike of Kings is a recreation of League of Legends, recreating all the mechanics and assets offered in the aforementioned game. The players are split into two teams (1v1, 3v3, or 5v5 matches) in which each player controls a single hero, equipped with a set of unique skills and abilities.

A mobile version of the sports game Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The edition released for smartphones and tablets using Android and iOS was based on the popular myClub mode. The player gathers cards featuring footballers and uses them to build their dream team. The game gives an opportunity to take direct control of footballers during matches played against other users and when competing against the AI. The experience combines arcade elements with a bit of simulation and tactics.

Never Stop Sneakin' is a stealth game by indie studio Humble Hearts, and a parody of the genre, especially of the first installment in the Metal Gear Solid series. The story focuses on the nefarious plans of a terrorist group, which uses a time machine to travel back in time and kidnap every American president. You play as a special secret agent, who is sent to the enemy base to free the presidents.

A combination of a first-person shooter, adventure game and 3D platformer inspired by Metroid, Ratchet & Clank and the Turok series. In Morphite, we play as a young woman called Myrah, who embarks on a journey through space. During her adventure the players can visit many randomly generated planets using a a space ship. When we are on the planets' surfaces we can, e.g. jump on platforms, drive various vehicles, solve environmental puzzles, find resources and fight with enemies.

First person shooter for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, PC and mobile devices. BadFly Interactive studio, famous for Dead Effect series, is responsible for its production. Players find themselves on inhospitable planet, where live creatures like big spiders or dinosaurs. Our task is to survive in this dangerous environment, using futuristic weapons and making tools within the crafting system. A mobile action MMORPG developed by Allstar Games. Sword of Chaos is a free-to-play game with optional microtransactions. The player assumes the role of a character he created and he is taken to a fantasy world. The action is shown from an isometric perspective and the task given to the player is to explore large locations, speak to NPCs, fight encountered enemies and develop their character.

A casual detective game with hidden objects, based on the license of a popular police procedural TV series, NCIS. The game has a similar feel to CSI: Hidden Crimes, a title of the same genre released two years earlier. We are thrown into various investigations, led by the titular agents in many different locations. We visit crime scenes, interrogate the witnesses, cataloguing and analyzing the evidence and clues we find.

FallenSouls is a free-to-play mobile MMORPG. The game takes us to a fantasy world threatened by the army of darkness. Our task is to face the forces of evil and defeat the army's powerful leader. We begin with the character creation, choosing from three available races (human, orc, undead) and three classes (warrior, guardian, mage). Gameplay focuses on world exploration, character progression, and turn-based combat.

A free-to-play, mobile real-time battle game that uses microtransactions. The player is taken to a fantasy world, which was plunged into a crippling conflict. The player can assume the roles of both a prideful queen and a knight that fights to defend her. The player's goals are to expand their kingdom, research technologies, enlarge the army and send the troops to battle. Apart from regular soldiers, the player can recruit battle mages, powerful dragons and other creatures.

A simplified version of yet another edition of the most popular football manager simulation game by Sports Interactive, and a title half-way between Football Manager 2017 and its mobile edition, Football Manager Mobile 2017. In the game, we assume the role of a manager of one of more than 2,5 thousand football clubs from over 100 different leagues, trying to provide our team with both sports and financial successes.

A hybrid of an action game and a racing game, developed by Hutch Games. The action is shown from a side perspective and the player can take control of more than twenty vehicles (including muscle cars, off-road vehicles, futuristic racing cars and light buggies). The objective of the game is to complete the track in the most spectacular way possible. There are more than forty varied levels filled with obstacles and ramps, which the player can use to jump in the air and perform various stunts.

Plot of Vector 2 continues the storyline of the original and takes us back to the dreary world of the future, in which the eye of Big Brother keeps track of all actions of the people.

Til Morning's Light is an action-adventure game developed by the indie studio Way Forward Technologies. We play as Erika Page, a teenager stuck in a cursed mansion. Our job is to find the residence's many secrets and, first and foremost, a way to escape. We have to do it before the sunrise, or else Erika will be turned into a ghost and join the many supernatural creatures that haunt the place.

The production focuses on a realistic recreation of the famous offensive in the Ardennes, which took place at the turn of 1944 and 45 and was the last major operation of the German army on the Western Front of World War II.

We play the role of a hero who, using the power of the title sword, must discover the truth about his own origin and deal with a demon threatening the land. The game focuses primarily on the action, and the RPG elements have been reduced to the necessary minimum.

A tactical turn-based strategy game set during World War II; it was developed by Cat Rabbit studio, supported by the Slitherine company. Interestingly, the game is a virtual adaptation of a popular board game which came out in 2014. The game is set just after the D-Day, when the Allies landed in Normandy. Three playable armies are at the player's disposal - the Americans, the British and the Germans.

RPG 06 July 2016

A mobile RPG that supports augmented reality technology, created by Niantic studio in conjunction with The Pokemon Company. The application uses smartphones’ and tablets’ cameras to register the surrounding reality, then include additional, three-dimensional objects on it. We searching for Pokemon by following the instructions from our GPS. Other elements of gameplay aren’t much different from what we’ve seen in other entries in the series.
