An episodic adventure game based on the popular Fables comic book series. The Wolf Among Us was developed by Telltale Games, studio that used the same mechanics as in its previous title, The Walking Dead. The protagonists are fairy creatures that were forced to look for a safe haven in the human world where they must hide their true nature. During the game the player can encounter many characters known from the comic books – including the Big Bad Wolf, Snow White or Ichabod Crane.

The new edition was developed by Double Fine Production, a studio led by Tim Schafer, the co-author of the original title. The game once again relies on the setting of hardboiled novels, only this time set in Asia, where the protagonist has been framed for a crime he did not commit. He has no choice, but to clear his name before he gets caught by real criminals or the police. Framed 2 employs comics panel-based narrative, constructed in a way that will allow the protagonist to get out of trouble.
