Land of War: The Beginning PC

Land of War: The Beginning is an FPS which takes place in Poland during World War II. The game was developed by MS Games.

Plot

Land of War: The Beginning's story combines historical events with fictional themes. The main character of the game is Piotr Kowalski - a soldier of the Polish Army. Shortly after the German invasion of Poland, the protagonist gets involved in an intrigue which will determine the fate of his homeland and the whole world.

Mechanics

In Land of War: The Beginning we observe the action from first-person perspective. The mainstay of the game is a story campaign that takes us to authentic battlefields of the years 1939-1944. During the game, among other things, we can get on board an armoured train, try to fight off German tanks as an infantry, sit at the controls of a tankette, try to break though encirclement, and take part in the defense of a peninsula. In addition to the large-scale battles taking place in vast, open locations, where we use a wide range of firearms (including both weapons used in the war and prototype weapons, such as the Mors submachine gun), we take part in spy missions and sabotage operations, where silent operation is the most important.

Technical aspects

3D visuals of Land of War: The Beginning are of decent quality. It is noteworthy that the uniforms and armaments of both sides of the conflict have been faithfully reproduced.
