Lost In The Open is a tactical roguelike RPG set in a low fantasy world, featuring turn-based combat. This strategy game is the result of the work of the independent studio Black Voyage Games.

Gameplay

Having become the target of an assassination attempt, as the king of Nrvesk, we flee in the company of two loyal bodyguards. To survive in the vast procedurally generated world, we need to make various choices, including those related to resource management and the recruitment of new members of the monarch's entourage. We are relentlessly pursued by enemy forces and forced to engage in demanding battles.

Turn-based combat takes place on a grid made up of octagons. It is devoid of detailed character animations and resembles miniature wargames. Apart from statistics related to the development of team members, tactics play a key role, manifesting in the positioning of units in order to flank opponents.
