The PlayStation is the iconic, trail-blazing console designed and developed by Sony. It was a console of the 5th generation, but it was the 1st to be designed entirely by Sony. It sported a 32-bit architecture, a CD drive and entire 2 MB of RAM. The console achieved a stunning success across the world, eventually delivering more than 100 million units worldwide. Apart from PS1 (PSX), a scaled-down version, the PSOne, was also available.

Battle Arena Toshinden 2

Continuation of the three-dimensional fight of the Japanese Tamsoft studio. In the game we take part in the next edition of Toshinden tournament, organized by the mysterious organization Secret Society. The title offers 3 new warriors, new blows, a new combos system and a handful of improvements in mechanics.
Resident Evil 2 (1998)

The second installment in the best-selling survival horror action-adventure game series. Similarly to the original installment, the game has been developed by the Japanese studio Capcom. The action of Resident Evil 2 is set after the events shown in the first installment – nearly all citizens of Raccoon City have been infected by a mysterious virus, which changed them into bloodthirsty zombies.

Attack of the Saucerman!

A combination of a three-dimensional platformer and an action game in which we play the role of Ed - an alien sent to Earth in order to stop the NEDCO corporation from colonizing the Blue Planet. In the course of the game we go through various stages, jump over platforms and fight with encountered opponents, as well as solve environmental riddles.
Battle Arena Toshinden

A three-dimensional fight in which players meet in delineated three-dimensional arenas, fighting with each other with the use of weapons and various special attacks. The background to the game is the legendary Toshinden tournament, organized by a mysterious sponsor named Gaia.
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

As Anakin Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi and other Star War heroes, the player has to face the dangers lurking on the planets of Naboo and Tatooine, as well as in the capital of the Republic - Coruscant.
Cyber Sled

An action game in which we play as a kind of futuristic gladiators - pilots of tanks fighting for survival in specially prepared arenas. Developed by Namco Cyber Sled is a refreshed version of the production of the same title, which two years earlier debuted on arcade machines.
Renegade Racers

A racing game in which we sit at the helm of hovercraft and fight for victory on one of the six tracks. In addition to the Arcade mode (created to play alone) developed by Promethean Designs Renegade Racers studio, there is also a Quick Race variant, in which we can face another person. The whole was enriched with three-dimensional graphics maintained in a light, cartoon style.
Metal Gear Solid

A tactical action game with stealth features, developed by Konami, as well as continuation of the Metal Gear series, which began over a decade earlier on 8-bit MXS computers. The story takes place in the not-so-far future and tells about an attack of a dangerous terrorist organization on a secret military base in Alaska.
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

The third installment of the extremely popular survival horror series, which is supervised by Capcom. Players once again find themselves in the fictional town of Raccoon City, whose residents have been turned into bloodthirsty zombies. Of course, behind these events is once again the Umbrella corporation, from whose laboratory escaped another, deadly virus. We're given two protagonists - at the beginning we control only Jill Valentine from the elite S.T.A.R.S.
Colony Wars

Colony Wars is a space clash simulator with a strong emphasis on non-linear gameplay. As we play, we play the rebellious pilot of the League of Free Worlds, determined to expel the ruthless forces of the Earth Empire from the colony. The player's combat effectiveness will determine the further development of the intergalactic war, and if it turns out to be the Space Ace, the command will assign him better and better combat machines. The game started a series of titles under the same name.
Driver 2: Back on the Streets

Continuation of the 1999 hit. This is an action game set in the open world of cars, in which the player takes on the role of a policeman acting under the cover. The missions focus mainly on impressive chases or the shortest possible route from A to B. A novelty in relation to the first part of the cycle is to allow the main hero to leave the vehicle he controls.
Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins

Continuation of a sneaky ninja about warriors from 1998. Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins takes place before the events presented in the first part of the cycle and focuses on the fate of three young ninjutsu art adepts who stand on opposite sides of the barricade during the devastating civil war. In addition to an extensive feature campaign, the production also offers a mission editor.
Armored Core: Project Phantasma

Continuation of the 1997 release of Armored Core, an action game with a view of TPP. The project develops elements of the original, allowing players to try out new types of weapons and mosses on various maps.
Duke Nukem: Land of the Babes

Continuation of Duke Nukem: Time to Kill, published in 1998, which slightly changes the assumptions of the original. Production is an action game with a third party perspective. The title character takes another journey in time, this time to the future, to save women enslaved by aliens.
Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol

A tactical action game in which we lead a two-person branch of American rankings, performing various missions in different parts of the world. One of the distinguishing elements of production is the cooperation mode for two players on a split screen.
Rapid Racer

A racing game in which we sit at the controls of motor boats and fight for victory on six different routes. Rapid Racer is one of the first titles released on PlayStation 1 to take advantage of the capabilities of the DualShock pad. The title works in sixty frames per second, which, however, resulted in a decrease in the quality of the visual setting.
Solar Eclipse

Created by Crystal Dynamics Space Shooting TPP with arcade character. The title is based on the assumptions known from the famous Star Fox series and is a continuation of the game released on 3DO in 1993 titled Total Eclipse.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver

Set in a dark world, an action adventure game with a view of TPP, in which the banished vampire Raziel realizes a plan of revenge on his former ruler. Successful production combines action sequences with logical challenges.
Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft

The third installment in a popular series of action-adventure games developed by Core Design and following the story of the fearless Lara Croft - an archeologist searching for legendary artifacts all around the world. In Tomb Raider III, the protagonist tries to find four mysterious artifacts carved from an ancient meteorite.
Resident Evil

Action adventure game in the survival horror convention, which gave rise to a series that enjoys unflagging popularity around the world. The title was developed by Capcom, and its storyline draws heavily on horror films. In unexplained circumstances, bloodthirsty zombies appeared on the streets of a fictional city Raccoon City - to the rescue moves a special squad S.T.A.R.S.
