Cult County is a survival horror adventure game in which events are shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The story takes place in a desert town in Texas, where the protagonist finds himself in search of a sister. He finds an atmosphere of fear and distrust caused by sinister cultists, and soon comes to fight for survival. The game combines a dramatic struggle with exploratory elements in locations with a partially open structure.

Adventure canceled

Second part of White Day series initiated in 2001 with survival horror of the same name. After several years, the title received a remake entitled White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, and just before its debut on PC and PlayStation 4, White Day 2: Swan Song was revealed. The game is not a direct continuation, but a prequel, the action of which takes place six years before the events shown in the original. Players learn the fate of students trapped in a haunted school at night.

The player is taken to a mysterious school for the most outstanding students, which is governed by an electric teddybear called Monokuma. At the very beginning, the students find out that they've been imprisoned inside the school building.

In Emily Wants to Play, we assume the role of a pizza delivery guy who gets imprisoned late in the evening in a suspiciously-looking house. Inside, a deceased girl named Emily with her three dolls wants to play a ghastly game with the unfortunate man. The player’s task is to survive a night in the haunted house and solve the dark secret of that place.

The player assumes the role of a housemaid, who decides to solve the mystery behind the mysterious disappearance of the Victorian residence’s inhabitants. The gameplay in Weeping Doll is presented from a first person perspective, and focuses on exploration, searching for story clues and keys, and finally solving various riddles which involve object manipulation.

A horror game developed by the independent studio Wales Interactive, which was inspired by an urban legend of a demonic witch. The protagonist, searching for her lost daughter, is led to a grim mansion that hides a dark secret. In Don’t Knock Twice, the action is presented from the first-person perspective, while the gameplay is focused on exploration of the vast house in search of carefully hidden hints as well as fighting encountered opponents with the use of various items.

A virtual exploration game for VR goggles, developed by the British nDreams studio. Perfect offers no plot – the players are given three different environments which can be freely explored. We visit sunny, tropical beach, high peaks of mountains and snowy valley with a scenic aurora above it. We observe the world from first-person perspective and we look around by turning our head. Dedicated controllers let us interact with some objects.

An exploration game designed exclusively for Virtual Reality headgear – ARK Park takes the players to a futuristic Jurassic Park clone. The action of the game includes references to the popular online survival game called ARK: Survival Evolved. In the game, one can observe the natural habitat of dinosaurs, and even ride the gigantic reptiles. The locations one gets to explore are much diversified – there is a tropical jungle, snow-capped mountain peaks, and even vast steppes.

The production tells a story about the crew of the spaceship Sentra, which has been sent to the Red Planet with the objective of retrieving the remains of the Phobos, a research probe. Once they got there, they find remnants of an alien civilization that come back to life due to contact with humans.

During a task for an underwater laboratory, an accident occurs and the hero finds himself abandoned on the ocean floor. He must survive and find a way to escape the trap before his oxygen supply runs out. We explore underwater locations, fighting aggressive animals and solving occasional puzzles.

We play as a person who got stuck in a haunted house, just like the characters in the movies. To survive, we will have to discover the house's secret and find out what creatures want to kill us. Gameplay in Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul is based on the standard formula used in many other horror adventure games.

In Summer Lesson the player assumes the role of a teacher who provides summer Japanese lessons to an American exchange student. He meets with the girl on the porch of a traditional country house. The gameplay is very simple and player’s interactions with the virtual world are limited to performing a few gestures.

Stifled bases the exploration mechanics on the original concept of use of echolocation – as they spread, sound waves reveal the layout of rooms and shapes of objects around you. Sounds can be made not only by the protagonist and some environmental objects, but also by the player themselves, using a microphone.

The title debuted on multiple gaming platforms, but only PC and PlayStation 4 versions support virtual reality goggles and dedicated motion controllers. In Transference the player is tasked with solving a mystery of a family whose members are facing various obsessions.

Suffering from amnesia, the castaway has to face many challenges to solve the mystery of his unplanned stop on the hostile world.
