Omens of Destruction is an expansion pack for the Total War: Warhammer III strategy game, created by Creative Assembly in 2022. It was divided into three packages, which were dedicated to different playable factions:

  1. Golgfag - Ogre Kingdoms;
  2. Skulltaker - Khorne;
  3. Gorbad - orcs and goblins.

New features in the expansion

In Total War: Warhammer III - Omens of Destruction the creators introduced three lords representing factions: ogres, orcs, and Khorne. They are available exclusively in the Immortal Empires campaign and in their own battles.

  1. Golgfag Maneater is an ogre mercenary who is a battle-hardened veteran. During his life, he traveled the world far and wide, facing various enemies. His fighting style involves eliminating infantry, slicing through them like a knife through butter. One of his skills is Eagle Eye, which allows him to fire a barrage of armor-piercing damage.
  2. Skulltaker is a champion of Khorne and he is constantly seeking trophies to his collection. During fights, he finds the strongest opponent to challenge and defeat. Then, using his two-handed Slayer Sword, he charges at the rest of the soldiers. He possesses a skill that gives him resistance to magic and magical protection that increases with the number of kills.
  3. Gorbad Ironclaw is an orc warlord who is completely consumed by war. Over the years, he became an idol for his race, as he combines extraordinary strength and an unusual trait among orcs - cunning. He uses it when planning battles, combining diverse units together. He moves across the battlefield on the back of a war boar, and his special ability activates near his warriors. In this way, he receives significant bonuses to attack and defense in close combat.

The expansion also brings many new units and heroes belonging to each lord faction. For example, Bragg the Gutsman joins the game with Golgfag, the forces of Khorne are represented by Skulltakers and Wrathmongers, and Gorbad is supported by Snagla Grobspit along with their warriors.
