Trackmania Video Game Series
A highly popular series of arcade racing games featuring with an extensive track editor. The brand was created and developed by the French development studio Nadeo.
The series debuted in 2003 with TrackMania on PC, which later got two expansions - TrackMania Power Up and TrackMania Original. For the sequel - TrackMania Sunrise - fans had to wait until 2005. It also got an expansion - TrackMania Sunrise eXtreme. A year later, we got the free-to-play TrackMania Nations Electronic Sports World Cup and TrackMania United, which is a combination of all previous installments of the series along with expansions. The latter received three expansions in the following years: TrackMania United Forever, TrackMania United Forever - Star Edition and TrackMania Nations Forever. In 2008, the developers decided to expand beyond PC, releasing TrackMania DS for Nintendo DS console. The final game in the first generation of the TrackMania series was TrackMania Wii (2010), a port released on Nintendo Wii. A year later, Nadeo and Ubisoft announced plans for TrackMania 2. The title was divided into three standalone games: TrackMania 2: Canyon (2011), TrackMania 2: Valley (2013) and TrackMania 2: Stadium (2013)
The gameplay in the TrackMania series deviates significantly from the solutions found in the arcade racing games. It focuses on driving on tracks with many turns and full of jumps. The player has to reach the finish line in the shortest possible time, no matter how many times they fall off the track. Most often, there is also only one vehicle model available, and the possible modifications are limited to the way it is painted which does not have any effect on how it drives.
The series is also distinguished by the included editor. It allows you to easily build multi-level race tracks with plenty of shortcuts, dead ends, ramps, jumps or special mechanisms. The implemented online multiplayer mode allows players from different corners of the world to race on their custom tracks.
An interesting fact is that the expansions for the TrackMania games are available for free to players who have previously purchased the base game or for a fee in the form of standalone expansions. In addition, Nadeo have prepared several completely free titles, which are usually the versions of paid games with limitations (e.g. TrackMania Nations Forever).

Racing, Arcade Elements, Internet, Multiplayer, Singleplayer.
Trackmania 2: Lagoon is the fourth Trackmania 2 game, the most popular installment of the series created and developed by the French studio Nadeo. In terms of mechanics, the game uses the same system we know from the previous installments in the series. We race against other drivers on uncommon and crazy race tracks. Though the overall premise of the game did not change, it has a rather different climate, literally. Trackmania 2: Lagoon gives us access to sixty five tropical race tracks that are the revamped version of the archipelago that was available in 2016 Trackmania Turbo. Single player is still the fundamental game mode here, but Lagoon also offers a multiplayer mode with six different game modes available. The game comes with a level editor.

Another installment in the series of racing games started in year 2003. For the past few years the franchise was developed by Nadeo Studio, the founders of the series, under the banner of Ubisoft. The general concepts of the gameplay are left unchanged and the objective is to complete wicked tracks, filled with various obstacles, ramps, barrels, and treacherous turns. Trackmania Turbo features 4 distinctive environments, including a tropical archipelago, a large stadium, a rocky canyon, and a hilly valley. Each of them offers different experience and requires a slightly different driving technique. In campaign mode there are about 200 tracks to complete, divided into 5 categories based on their difficulty level. There is also a multiplayer mode in which, in addition to the well known modes, Double Driver was added. This mode allows two different players to control a single vehicle. The game has also an editor traditional for the series, which allows creating new tracks.
