Trackmania debuted in 2020 and is still quite popular. Recently, the appeared on Steam and you can assign it to your account for free. In the game we race on a variety of tracks, compete with other players and have the opportunity to play solo. The title also offers quite a few different modes, so it's hard to get bored during gameplay. In this guide you will learn how to play Trackmania together with friends.

1. If you want to race with friends, you have several options. The first is to choose the Royal mode, in which two-person teams compete against each other. All you have to do is go there and then click on Invite Friend and select any of the friends you have previously added as friends in the Ubisoft Connect app.
2. The second option is to enter the Arcade, arrange with a friend to play in a specific room and then join.
3. It is also possible to play local multiplayer. In this case, select the Local tab, and then Local Multiplayer, in which you can play hot seat or split screen. It is also possible to create a Local Network, but then we need to purchase Standard Access. This can be done directly in the game.

Multiplayer without friends

If you don't have friends, it doesn't mean that you are doomed to play solo only. After entering the aforementioned Royal mode you can join the game. Then another player who has also decided to play solo will be assigned to our team.
