The result was a great success for Nintendo. In 2012 Wii was succeeded by Wii U.

Trauma Center: Second Opinion is a continuation of the popular game, which was released on the portable Nintendo DS console. The prototype won many fans because of the interesting subject matter (players played as a doctor) and the unusual use of the touch screen (used for operations).
