Ghost of Tsushima: How to get gifts?

What are gifts?

Gifts are received from the native inhabitants of Tsushima. You can get them by helping the characters you encounter, whether by solving quests received from them or by liberating locations from the Mongols.

The game always shows a message about a new gift.

Where to pick up gifts?

In the first hours of the game, you can receive gifts at the Golden Temple. It is one of the larger locations in the Izuhara region inhabited entirely by friendly independent characters.

After you reach the Golden Temple for the first time, talk to one of the NPCs who will explain the mechanics of receiving gifts.

Gifts are left on the Gift Altar.

Later in the campaign, you can find other locations where you can receive gifts. In the Toyotama region, an example location where you can receive gifts is Akashima village.

Main types of gifts

Gifts are mainly:

1. Masks and headgear - These cosmetic items can make the hero look more interesting.
2. Supplies - You can receive a pack of 100 supplies.
3. Rare crafting materials
