God of War: Between the Realms - Walkthrough

On this page of the God of War game guide, you will find a walkthrough of the Between the Realms quest that begins after you capture the Unity Stone. The heroes must get through the challenge of worlds and face many waves of enemies. This guide will tell you when to use the mystical gate, how to survive the challenge of the realms, and how to defeat all of the enemies, including the ogre and the fire troll (mini-bosses).

Explore the Realm between Realms

Go back to Midgard - think about upgrading your gear because you will soon have to fight a few challenging battles.

Enter the Mystic Gateway when you are ready and head to The Realm Between Realms.

Get closer to the edge and jump into abyss - don't worry, the Unity Stone will save you.

Go forward and enter the Jotunheim tower.

Investigate the Jotunheim tower and use the Unity Stone

Enter inside the building. There are multiple doors here - you probably already know what will happen next.

Place the Unity Stone into the panel to start the gauntlet - you have to survive a few rounds during which you have to defeat various enemies.

Survive gauntlet of realms

The first round consists of multiple weaker enemies. Blades of Chaos work the best on them.

The second round are the enemies from Alfheim. You must face single and powerful enemies - avoid their attacks and don't let them blind you.

The third stop is Helheim - use Blades of Chaos on the ice enemies and keep a safe distance.

The ogre and the fire troll - mini-bosses

Time for Muspelheim - an Ogre comes first, and after that you have to defeat a fire troll! Kratos can be weakened during this part due to the previous fights so be careful. Save your Rage for this fight.

Congratulations! You can now head to Jotunheim!
