God of War: Is diving in the game?

In this chapter of the guide you will learn the answer to a simple question - can you dive and swim in God of War? This question can be tied to your desire to thoroughly explore the game world and find as many secrets as possible.

In God of War, many locations with water reservoirs appear and the biggest one is available in the Shores of the Nine location. Unfortunately, Kratos and Atreus can't dive or swim - the creators did not foresee such an option.

If you want to go somewhere, you have to use one of the boats that you will sail to the destination. What's more, you can dock only in fixed places, mainly on beaches, which will be marked on the map after their discovery during exploration.

So you don't have to worry that there is another plethora of underwater secrets waiting for you - the whole game takes place on land. Occasionally, you can pick fruits on the Nine River, which will add a permanent bonus to one of the main statistics of Kratos. In addition, you are safe on the water and no beast can attack you.
