List of fights with Jango Fett
Jango Fett is a bounty hunter - you will face him 3 times during the second episode of the campaign.
Jango Fett is a bounty hunter - you will face him 3 times during the second episode of the campaign. The fights take place in the following moments:
- At the landing site during the Bounty Hunter Blues quest.
- The pursuit of Fett's ship as part of The Hunt for Jango level.
- The arena fight in the second part of The Petranaki Panic level.
First fight - Bounty Hunter Blues
The first confrontation with Jango Fett takes place during a visit to the Tipoca City on the planet Kamino. The fight will take place after reaching the landing site. It will be a short fight.
The best strategy against the bounty hunter is to throw your lightsaber - this way you won't have to get closer to him.
During this fight, you'll need to watch out for enemy starship fire and the missiles fired by Jango. These special attacks are indicated by red lines and circles, and you have to move away from them in advance to avoid taking damage.
You won't be able to beat Jango Fett right now. He will escape during a cut-scene, but you'll get to fight him again soon enough.
Second fight - The Hunt for Jango
The second confrontation is part of a story mission that involves defeating Jango's starship after reaching the asteroid field. You will have to deplete the enemy ship of both bars 3 times - the blue shield bar and the red ship's hull bar.
Pay attention to the yellow marker displaying the current location of Jango's starship. When firing, aim at the small circle "preceding" the starship to correct the projectile trajectory.
During this battle, you have to react to notifications about incoming rockets (example in the screenshot). In these situations, do barrel rolls or rollovers. We don't recommend doing barrel rolls near asteroids, as you might accidentally hit them.
Jango will also drop Seismic Charge traps. They pulsate red, making them easier to spot (example in the screenshot). When avoiding them, keep a good distance so that the shock-waves generated when they explode don't reach your ship.
During this stage, you'll have to uncover Jango's hiding spot twice. This task is easy, since all you need to do is fly to the locations marked in yellow. These are within various asteroids, through which you'll have to fly to continue the chase. It's a good idea to lower your flight speed to reduce the risk of colliding with one of the asteroid fragments.
Once you have decreased both of Jango's starship's energy bars to zero three times, the quest will conclude with a cut-scene.
Third fight - The Petranaki Panic
The third confrontation with the bounty hunter is part of the arena fights. You have to reach the second part of the battle in which you have to deal with three monsters - mini-bosses.
In the second phase of the fight, you will face droids first. You can deal with them by using standard attacks or by riding one of the nearby beasts.
Jango Fett will eventually join the fight, and from the moment the boss appears, you should focus all your attacks on him.
Attacking Jango Fett isn't particularly complicated. The excellent idea is to throw a lightsaber at him, which will make it easier for you to react to his attacks.
Jango Fett's stronger attack is launching rockets. You can move away fast from where they are supposed to land (red circles on the ground) or use the Force to catch them in flight.
Another unique attack by Jango is trapping the hero . You have to then quickly press the indicated button to free yourself before you get hit by the strong attack of the Bounty Hunter.
Fortunately, Jango Fett has only one health bar, so you don't have to attack him for a long time to win the final fight.
