LEGO Skywalker Saga: Sovereign Protectors and Knights of Ren - boss, how to beat?

This is an unusual boss fight which takes place during the Be With Me level from Episode 9 (Rise of Skywalker). Where the battle takes place

You'll face the Sovereign Protectors and the Knights of Ren during the big encounter in the final mission, Be With Me.

Boss battle description

At first you fight only the Sovereign Protectors, but the Knights of Ren will join in soon after.

This encounter is similar to the one against the Praetorian Guards in Episode 8. The enemies share a single health bar. There are also helmet icons underneath it, representing individual enemies. Try to focus on a single enemy at a time to eliminate them efficiently.

The Protectors and the Knights have their own separate strong attacks which are, as usual, telegraphed by red lines and circles of various sizes. Dodge out of the way to avoid damage.

During the battle you may have to overpower some of the enemies by mashing the displayed button.

If you're playing in singleplayer mode, you'll be switching characters from time to time, alternating between Rey and Kylo Ren. Each character has their own horde of enemies they must eliminate, but the overall strategy remains the same. You don't need to fear the Emperor (yet), he won't join in during this battle.
