My Time at Sandrock: Takin' it Easy - walkthrough

This page contains a walkthrough of the Takin' it Easy quest, during which you will visit the Golden Goose Game Center and then go with Elsie and Mi-an to the Blue Moon Saloon to have dinner together.

Reward and time limit

Quest time limit: 20 hours (from 7:00 a.m. to 03:00 a.m. the day after completing the Picking Up the Slack main quest)

Reward: 600 EXP, Relationship: Mi-an 15 and Elsie 10

Quest start

Immediately after waking up, head to the Commerce Guild, where you will witness a lively conversation between Mi-an and Elsie. Tired from the hard work of assembling the Crane Lift, the girls will invite you to spend some time relaxing at the Golden Goose Game Center.

Meet Elsie in the Game Center

After the conversation, follow the girls to the Golden Goose Game Center. The building is located right next to the Museum in the north section of the town. You can also get there by fast travelling with the Yakmel Station, but it's not really worth spending the money on such a short journey. Once there, talk to the girls - they are standing in front of the building. Mi-an will offer you a game of Whack-a-Mole.

Play a Game with Mi-an

You will be moved to a game board to play Whack-a-Mole. Now and then, rats are going to pop up from the holes on the map. Your task is to hit the furry critters with the hammer and score as many points as possible before the time runs out. Each successful hit is worth 5 points. To win, you need to beat Mi-an's score.

Sometimes, an animal with a watch will appear instead of the usual rat. If you hit it with the hammer, you will gain more time, giving you a chance to improve your score.

Avoid the rats holding pieces of concrete. If you hit one, you'll be stunned for a moment and unable to move.

When the bar at the bottom left of the screen, next to the portrait of the main character, fills up, you'll be able to use a special ability to eliminate rats faster and earn extra points.

The game will end when the time runs out. You can keep playing whether you win or lose. After another conversation with Mi-an, head inside the Game Center.

Head for Saloon

Your next objective is to visit the Blue Moon Saloon. The building is across the road from the Commerce Guild. Go inside and take a seat at the table.

Your task is to select the correct dishes from the menu based on the directions displayed in the upper right corner of the order screen. The directions may vary, but they're not too complicated. Each correctly selected dish is marked with a green tick next to the requirements list. Once you have made up your mind, simply accept and pay for your order. A cut-scene will then play and afterwards, the quest will be completed.
