20th Birthday of Agent 47; Hitman Attracted Millions of Players
The Hitman series celebrates its 20th birthday this month. On this occasion, the creators at IO Interactive revealed how many fans played the adventures of Agent 47 and reminded about the January launch of the latest installment of the series.
The Hitman series has been with us for 20 long years, as reminded by devs from IO Interactive. In their entry they make a small summary of the adventures of Agent 47. It turns out that over 70 million users have played the major installments of the series (and there are already 7 of them). Throughout the whole series, the protagonist visited 6 continents and completed over 100 missions. In addition, he has seen 2 movies, 2 books, a series of comic books and 2 mobile games.
Developers also recall the launch of Hitman 3, which is scheduled for January 20, 2021. The title will go to PC, PS4, PS5, XONE, XSX and Switch. The developers promise that more information about the game will be available soon.
