Warner Bros. Company Games confirmed the introduction of a new publishing structure announced in February this year (via Variety).

Warner Bros. Games will now focus on developing games based on four key brands: Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Mortal Kombat, and the DC Comics universe. As part of the changes, three current CEOS of studies were promoted to senior vice president (SVP) positions.

Yves Lachance, the former head of the Montreal studio, will be responsible for the development of games from the Harry Potter series (including Hogwarts Legacy 2, which is expected to be "narratively coordinated" with the upcoming HBO series) and Game of Thrones. Shaun Himmerick, the head of the NetherRealm team (the creators of Mortal Kombat), will be in charge of developing games from this series and titles based on DC comics.

The third new vice president is Steven Flenory, who will oversee technology, quality control (QC), and customer service. All three will report directly to JB Perrette, the CEO of Warner Bros. Games Global Streaming and Games.

These changes come after a period of restructuring, during which three studios, including Monolith Productions, were closed in February, and David Haddad stepped down as the president of Warner Bros. Games in January. According to information from Variety, the recently announced changes in the management team didn't result in further layoffs or departures from the company.
