A Plague Tale Requiem With New Graphics Mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X
A Plague Tale: Requiem has received an update that enables gameplay at 60 frames per second on select consoles.
One of the best games of last year just got even better. Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio have released a new update to A Plague Tale: Requiem. It introduces the game's eagerly awaited performance mode.
From now on any owner of the aforementioned title on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X consoles can enjoy smooth gameplay at 60 frames per second .. As expected, this option guarantees higher fps at the expense of lower visual quality.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is another game that, on the day of its release, supported only 30 frames per second mode on consoles. And while the dissatisfaction about this at the time was less vociferous than with other titles (probably because the game itself was a solid experience), the lack of a performance mode was still felt.
It is worth mentioning that the developers also prepared relevant patches for the PC version of A Plague Tale: Requiem. They focus primarily on better optimization (new graphics options have been added, among other things).
