Aloy's Peach Fuzz Shocked Some Players

Aloy's model in Horizon: Forbidden West on PlayStation 5 is so detailed that you can even see tiny hairs on her face. Not everyone likes this.

There are three days left until the release of Horizon Forbidden West. The wait for the game's release can be made more pleasant by laughing at the joke, which erupted on the Internet around the facial hair, specifically, so-called peach fuzz, of the main character, Aloy.

What's all this about?

On Twitter Jesse Cox (producer of Monster Camp) uploaded a screenshot along with a message of another user. The player (his nickname was mercifully hidden by Cox) complains that "Aloy has a beard," pointing to the PlayStation 5 model of the character's face, which shows tiny hairs on her cheeks.

This element does not appear on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. The PS5 has the power to let developers to go wild in terms of detail - hence the fine hairs, visible pores and other imperfections. All of these elements are part of the face of virtually every adult woman, so the Twitter feeds are full of people laughing at the fact that the person complaining about it has obviously never had the opportunity to take a closer look at a member of the fair sex.

Of course, there are also people who don't like this level of detail and declare that they prefer unrealistically perfect characters because games are part of their fantasy and a way to escape reality.

This isn't the first time this has happened

Making fun of complaints about the game's character model probably wouldn't be so popular if it weren't for the fact that this isn't the first time this has happened. Last year, after the first presentation of gameplay, some players noticed that Aloy's face in the gameplay was not as thin as in the first part. The negative reaction to those comments encouraged pranksters to create a series of funny memes with "fat Aloy"..

Another player created an idealized incarnation of the character. In response, a number of similar remakes appeared online, parodying this version. For example, Abby from The Last of Us II was embellished in this way..

Horizon: Forbidden West is coming exclusively to PlayStation 4 and PS5 on February 18.
