The highly-rated retro shooter Amid Evil will soon receive a major DLC - The Black Labyrinth - and a VR edition. It's a good opportunity to catch up with the game, which you can currently buy significantly cheaper.
Amid Evil, a retro FPS that pays homage to classics like Doom or Hexen, will receive support for VR goggles in less than a month, with the first major expansion coming soon after.
Amid Evil VR will offer seven separate levels with unique scenery and enemies, as well as new weapons and many secrets (for which the basic game is known).
In the description on Steam, the developers, in addition to listing the most important "features," presented the game in one sentence:
"This is not some underdeveloped version of Amid Evil ported to VR - this is the real deal."
The DLC was announced in 2020 (via: PCGamer), but only now has it received its own card on Steam. The expansion is supposed to be a prequel to the events known from Amid Evil. Players can expect many attractions. The description reads:
"Defeat the holder of the legendary 'Axe of the Black Labyrinth' to regain it and receive the title of a 'Champion'".
The release date and price of the DLC have not been announced.
