Another Opportunity to Get RTX 3080 Coming Next Week

Nvidia confirmed that next week it will replenish the stock of the RTX 3080, which sold out seconds after launch. Those who have missed their chance can prepare for the next race.

Nvidia created a product so good that demand exceeded its capabilities.

The launch of RTX 3080 met with so much interest that after just a few minutes the whole stock of cards was sold out. A lot of confusion arose, because people started to suspect that scalpers using bots bought out the whole stock and ordinary users had no chance for a fair purchase.

Nvidia's representative however, assured on Reddit that next week more RTX 3080s will be available on the company's official website. It is worth mentioning that the reports about bots buying out the whole stock may be true, because just after the cards were sold out, they started appearing on auction websites at prices two and three times higher than originally.

We don't know if and how Nvidia will fight such practices, but one of the company's representatives replied to the users of the company's official forum that they are considering introducing purchase verification with CAPTCHA codes to counteract the bots. Moreover, during the order verification process, those that seemed suspicious were canceled.
