Apex Legends Will Debut on Steam in November

With the start of the seventh season, Apex Legends will appear on Steam. Progress and statistics will be shared with other versions.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Apex Legends will debut on Steam on November 4.
  2. The Nintendo Switch version has been moved to 2021.

Apex Legends will debut on Steam on November 4, this year. Electronic Arts informed about the release date in a special announcement. The release of this edition will coincide with the start of the seventh season in the game.

If we have previously played Apex Legends on Origin and want to move to Steam, our progress will be preserved and shared between the two stores. Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have prepared virtual straps from Portal and Half-Life to celebrate the release of the game on the next platform, which we can equip on our character in Apex Legends.

Those who decide to play Apex Legends on Steam will receive limited straps.

Unfortunately we do not have good news for Switch owners. The release of Apex Legends on Nintendo's console has been postponed to an unspecified date in 2021. Once the title appears on the console, it will offer full support for cross-play options with other platforms.
