Red Dead Redemption 2 players are diversifying or completely rebuilding the combat system in anticipation of news about the future of Rockstar Games studio's western.
Players of Red Dead Redemption 2 can feel like the protagonists of the first RDR (or Max Payne), dodging enemies with majestic rolls.
Fans of Rockstar Games' online western mode are excited about the "new" NPCs and trailer, but fans of the sequel have already found a way to add new content to the game or bring back missing mechanics. For example, "combat roll," which adds the Combat Roll mode to the game.
This feature was available in the original Red Dead Redemption, but in the sequel, the developers replaced it with "diving" - to the surprise of some fans of the original. Surprisingly, it took so long for a mod to bring back this feature to RDR 2, which fans have been eagerly waiting for.
It must be honestly added that this is by no means the first mod changing the combat in the second Red Dead Redemption. The slightly more ambitious modification, Rededrunk's Ultimate Combat Overhaul, also gained some popularity. As the name suggests, Rededrunk's mod completely overhauls the combat systems - not only by modifying player actions (shooting, melee combat, stamina, etc.), but also by improving enemy behavior and adding more blood (although not enough to turn RDR 2 into a gruesome cartoon).
