Assassin's Creed Mirage to be the New Installment? Details Leaked

New information has been leaked about the next installment of Assassin's Creed, to be set in Baghdad. Some of it was confirmed by Jason Schreier.

There has been a lot of talk recently about the next installment of Assassin's Creed, and information about it usually comes from leaks. Today is no different, although this time the famous journalist Jason Schreier, who has been providing verified information for years, was tempted to comment. The latest installment in the series will reportedly be subtitled Mirage.

Information on Assassin's Creed Mirage

The news regarding the game was obtained from the Twitter profile of user Rebs Gaming, who specializes in publicizing leaks, who based it on a video created by user j0nathan on YouTube. In addition to the aforementioned subtitle, we can learn from it, for example, that the game's action will take place in Baghdad between the years 860-870 and we will take on the role of a young Basim. The game is said to return to the roots and to be strongly influenced by the original Assassin's Creed, and will be released in spring 2023..

The leak also reveals that Ubisoft is reportedly working on a remake of the first installment. In addition, the company is expected to reveal more information on September 10 during the Ubisoft Forward event.

We are dealing with a leak, and the information has not been confirmed by Ubisoft, so we should not take it for granted. However, as mentioned above, Jason Schreier commented on the reports, consulting his own source about it first, and announced that some of the information is true.. An example is the release date or setting, as it was reported by Bloomberg in the past. His believes however, that the Assassin's Creed installment in question will nor enable us to explore many cities.
